We…read morehadn't given much thought to which funeral home we would use but the cemetery was close to home, is always so beautiful with flowers on a majority of the graves and the lawn is immaculately trimmed around ever flower holder. My Mother worked with Tyler when making the arrangements for my Father's cremation. My Dad had requested no viewing or funeral so she only arranged a direct creamation. Tyler listened carefully to my Mother and walked her through the extremely difficult process at the very height of loss. Even though we had not planned, nor paid for a viewing, Davis Greenlawn allowed the family a brief viewing once the entire family was there. This keep the funeral home from removing my Father's body multiple times. My immediate family did not make Tyler's job easy during the viewing. Again, this wasn't a funeral nor normal funeral viewing but a courtesy for our family. However, Tyler handled as a true professional and remained respectful to all family members regardless if they did not. Tyler provided everything requested, and paid for, by my Mother and my Fathers wishes were honored as my Mother requested. My family expected different arrangements, their own unannounced expectations, but again, Davis Greenlawn did everything my Mother requested and handled the conflict with grace and dignity. We did not use the Chapel but I highly recommend for a family funeral. It's a respectable size, beautiful wood pews with a peaceful and comforting atmosphere. Others have mentioned pricing issues but we found the pricing competitive for a creamation and all was delivered as promised. We would definitively use Davis Greenlawn again. Apparently it wasn't checked before it was put up(first mistake). I reported it to Kathy, and she pulled the paper work and it was the company who does the plaque's fault. we had them on speaker and they said not to install it and they would replace it, well it was already installed. but still they were going to replace it. that was 11 weeks ago!!! we sent an email to Kathy, and also called in and left a message. NEVER have heard back from her!! I went in and left a message at the front desk, and again NEVER heard back from her! I saw another employee from there on 7/4 asked about it, was told he'd check into it. I called him on 7/6 and was told 10 days. as of today, 7/30 the plaque is STILL WRONG!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. I guess because they have their money and the person is dead, they don't care!! they think it doesn't matter. People make mistakes, but Kathy should have been calling the company about the plaque that they did wrong, every week until it was done!! I'm furious due to the lack of customer service and caring!! How can the plaques come in and NOT be checked/verified for accuracy before they are installed???? Horrible! thank you,

The next day when we finalized the paperwork, he helped with telling us how long it would take and how the process worked with everyone involved. Doctor, county, state and his requirements. Explained about the death certificates, which I was a little familiar. If you have the time, give him a call first. His whole team is very professional and down to earth. Inside, the venue was very spacious, with high ceilings, large doors, and artwork throughout with tasteful lighting and a consistent style throughout the venue. The private rooms, with their artwork and lighting, provided a peaceful setting for small groups to gather and share memories, fostering a sense of reflection. Even though the attendance exceeded the expected 75 people, the venue handled the larger crowd well the reception area was huge, with space for many to sit and enjoy the food. The foyer area became somewhat crowded at times due to the locations of the reception and service areas, causing a slight bottleneck. Even with the large crowd the venue had a feeling of stillness and quiet, offering areas for both communal gathering and private reflection. The restrooms were fully stocked with amenities like napkins, towels, and mouthwash. Parking was adequate, even with the overflow crowd. The staff provided excellent service. The doorman was attentive, and staff were readily available to assist guests. Really well done and proper service for an excellent young man.

Our eldest woman expired at home on a Friday afternoon. Since all of our family lives up North we…read morechose Texas Direct Cremation (TDC) to cremate the body so that we could take her remains there for a memorial service, then bring her back to Texas for preservation at home. TDC took possession of the body about 4 hours after her death. Over the next week Victor was with us every step of the way. Because she died at home and we wanted cremation the Office of the Medical Examiner had to review the circumstances of her passing before issuing a permit for. Victor carefully explained the process and handled everything. We received her ashes 10 days after her death. The cost was very reasonable, exactly what they say on their website. This was very high quality service and I highly recommend TDC to anyone who believes in cremation and has suffered loss.
