When I got served papers and it said I had 30 days to respond, I had no idea every paralegal provider expected you to hand them over in the first 2 weeks (otherwise pay a huge fee for "rush" service) - every paralegal, except CA Pro Paralegal Services. I wasn't charged an extra dime, and her prices and quality of document drafting blown everyone else out of the water. Even I was cringing reading through a document prepared by one of the popular paralegal businesses in town--my 8 year old could write better. Not even joking. Laurel at CPPS, however--that gal knows how to write. No surprise she was a ghostwriter in the past. I also love the home office aspect. When you walk through the door, you're immediately greeted with the scents of lavender and sandalwood. Incense burns and the decor is zen, helpie relax in a stressful time. She even offers to lead you in a quick mindfulness meditation, and she had some kind of special cushion that didn't make my back hurt when I sat on the ground. She has 2 rooms for children to play in while we do the serious stuff and both rooms are in view due to the open floor plan. My daughter loved the brain-shaped plasma lamp on her desk. Oh. And did I mention BAKED GOODS?! She always had some kind of freshly baked goodies for us everytime we visited. Anyway, she's super kind and understanding and even gives free services away in a drawing every week. My cousin won the last one, and it was a blessing for her. Yes, I made my cousin go to her. And my hairstylist and I think my dentist is next lol she will work with you and set up an affordable payment plan. I know Paralegal Services Unlimited charges a flat fee of $400 flippin' dollars (and for writing my 8 year old could do better - yep, I tattled... don't judge ) and the place in town that's supposed to help low income wanted to charge me $800. No joke. Because I waited til like a week before it was due. A week. An entire week. No thanks. read more
