The first time I attended a service I didn't think it was going to be our church home because it was in a gym. About 10 minutes into the pastor's message I felt a warm feeling of home and it has been our church for over three years at the time of this post. All of a sudden they informed me I was not a member and to become one I had to take a bunch of new members classes that were taught by people who were no there for even a year. I found this demoralizing and demeaning not to mention absurd. Also I could see they only hired their own family members for the church except for the maid who was a struggling single mom.
