Smoking inside is ok but isn't that noticeable as its a large structure so your not smelling like an ashtray after you leave.

Forgot to snap pics of the food, mostly because they weren't really pic-worthy. My husband got the…read morenachos, but without meat, so he basically got a pile of tortilla chips and lettuce with a couple tomatoes and jalapeños sprinkled around. He had asked for extra jalapeños and cheese, and if the light dusting is "extra", I'm assuming they usually come with next to nothing. For some reason we also thought it would be a queso cheese (maybe just overlooked the description on that), but found out they CAN for an extra charge. He said he's willing to give em another shot if we go again as long as he can get queso instead of shredded cheese. Unsatisfied by the nachos, my vegetarian husband decided it would be a meat cheat day and got the onion smash burger. He said it was way better than the nachos, but too salty. Both girls got the kids popcorn chicken basket and tater tots. Nothing homemade, just some deep fried freezer food. I got the 6 piece traditional wings with a sweet and spicy sauce. It was sweet, but very little spice. The chicken itself was okay, better than the my last couple of wing endeavors at other restaurants. Maybe a different sauce would make them better. They came with a couple of bites of super stringy celery, but at least it was fresh and not floppy. Sooo. That's all the bad/ugly. The "good" of the visit was the vibe. I think the last time I came to red dirt was when I was a couple of kids lighter and came with the late night crowd to indulge in a more liquid type of indulgence. I remember it being loud, crowded, with minimal chill. So I was a little skeptical that this is where my husband wanted to eat with a two and five year old. But. We got there right at opening and were the first ones there. Which is PERFECT. Even when the first few bar patrons trickled in, no one was bothered by my girls casually wondering around our table instead of sitting still. The music was also on point, and the service, although a little slow, was super friendly. Lorenzo says he wants to come back again, not so much for the food, but for the low key dinner vibes.

And apparently so is the management! Ordered a shirley temple the other night only to receive a dirty shirley. When corrected, the "manager" said we should have ordered a virgin shirley temple and that we still had to pay for the drink since it was our fault. Also closing your business early because not enough of your patrons are drinking but they're still hanging out and playing pool is such a strange thing to do!

The sides were fresh and delicious, and everything tasted homemade. The restaurant itself is a tiny little gem, and the service was excellent -- Nicole was so kind and helpful. I actually came here about 20 years ago, and the food was amazing back then too. I was so happy to see they're still open! The new owners have made some changes, but all in a good way. I'm really glad this place is still around -- I'll definitely be back.

If you're wanting authentic Korean, this might not be the place for you. First indicator of that…read morewas when we saw that a whole section of the menu dedicated to burgers. And banchan only comes free with bulgogi meals and only if requested. (That's one of my favorite parts of Korean food, so big let down there). But once I set my expectations aside, it was overall enjoyable. We got the 4 piece yaki, something totally non-Korean that had meat and fried plantains, kimchi soup for me, fried tofu for my husband, beef soup for my father in law, and cheesy rice for the kids. The kimchi soup was okay, but not the flavor and ingredient packed kimchi jigae I was looking for. (So far nowhere in Lawton has been able to deliver on that) It was pretty simple, just broth, kimchi, and tofu. Not bad, and would probably be pretty comforting on a cold Lawton winter day, but it's not something I'd order a second time. My husband loved his fried tofu. I tried a bite, it was tasty and seared well. My father in law had no complaints over his soup, but he also wasn't singing its praises or anything. The crispiness of the yaki was perfect, but the filling just meh, and it didn't come with a dipping sauce. The plantain and meat dish was definitely my least favorite, but my father in law put some of the meat in his soup and he said it was way better that way. But the unexpected star of the evening was the cheesy rice. Super simple - just a mound of steamed white rice with scrambled egg covered in a cheese sauce. i want to go back just to order cheesy rice again, but try it paired with something like bulgogi. Even though the food was, for the most part, just okay, the best part of the visit was the great service. Didn't catch the server's name, but she was personable and friendly without hovering or being overbearing. We also loved the vibe of the restaurant itself. There were board games, a giant jenga set, a giant connect 4 set, and some arcade games. It wasn't super busy, so my girls were able to just kind of walk around entertaining themselves with the games while the adults finished eating. So overall - the food wasn't great, but the vibes were slapping for us, and we'll definitely be back to give that cheesy rice another shot along with some other new menu items
