He didn't embarrass me because of my bad teeth. He offered a relatively quick solution and my experience at Siskyou Dental was a positive one. Also, a note about Kaylee, the dental assistant. She is very pleasant and very gentle with the exam. I'm in a lot pain. My gums are infected and feeling sensitive, she was efficient to complete the X-ray, without hurting me at all.

The final stage was sending me home with excellent verbal instructions (repeated to me at least 3 times so I would remember) of what to do for sore gums, types of food to eat and avoid for the next few days, and if I needed an adjustment to call right away. I can honestly say my gums around the the crowns were tender, but not sore and I am so very pleased with the end results! It made me a little sad to think, I'd only see these wonderful people only 2 times a year. For me that is a first. Love my forever dentist and staff!

Shockingly BAD experience…read more I took my child to this dentists office to have a tooth checked due to complaints about pain. When we saw the x-ray showing a pretty big cavity in the back molar, I asked if this was a regular filling or root canal possibility? The dentist said no, just regular filling and showed me where it had not yet touched the root. I said great. He said "don't worry, you won't have to wait as long to get this worked on as you did to come in for the exam". I had called in earlier a possible emergency, and the wait was about 2 weeks to see him on a first visit. I assumed the filling would be much faster after seeing him. When I went up to the front desk to make the filling appt. his receptionist, Betty, told me the fastest they can do it was a month away. When I told her the dentist said we would not have to wait as long, she seemed irritated and said "nothing I can do, they are all going on vacation, and we are fully booked, you have a nice day now". Very snidely said ... I guess this is how she gets rid of people rather than help them? Rude and unprofessional. When I went home I started getting worried. If this situation turned into a root canal, and this receptionist "Betty" was not communicating correctly with the dentist, a bigger problem might be created. I called and tried to tell her what the dentist had said to me about not having to wait as long. She raised her voice and interrupted me, was extremely abrasive and very aggressively said "NOTHING I can do, THAT'S his schedule...YOU HAVE A NICE DAY NOW". And then she hung up on me! WOW. Who does that? And quite frankly, who employs such a person to be the face of his business? Shocking! I had spoken softly and politely to her, and was just expressing concern as any mom would do for her child!!! Her rude phone manner was so abrupt and I was so rattled it took me several days to recover! Today I received a letter in the mail saying "RN Sutton DMD would not be able to serve as our primary care dentist" under our insurance. So I never got ANY treatment from this dentist, I only got treated like absolute shit from his disgustingly bad front desk person, Betty. And quite frankly I am THRILLED that I had the great good luck to NOT get treated or let my child get treated by this dentist, because if you click on the hidden reviews, there is a person named Roger B. who left an important review about the work this dentist provides, and how his dental health was ruined. Had I read this, I would never have gone to this dentist in the first place! Lesson learned. Proceed to this dentist and his nasty receptionist at your own risk.

My daughter went there for a cleaning before seeing her orthodontic for braces. When we came to BrightNow the doctor there immediately saw the problem, and a hygienist went to work on a special cleaning to clear out the bacteria under her gums, and was told to come back for a regular cleaning. She came back the following week and had her regular cleaning without incident. A week later my daughter arrived at her orthodontic's office, and the doctor looked inside her mouth and was blown away by the improvement of her gums. He wanted to know who had done the work so he could recommend people. He already knew of BrightNow from other clients. BrightNow saved my daughter a tremendous amount of unnecessary pain, and thousands of dollars. The team there (and it is a team) is great, caring, compassionate and know what they are doing. They are keepers. We wont go anywhere else. Regarding the comment about lousy X-RAYS, we first went to a place called Grinz 4 Kids in Medford. They looked inside my daughter's mouth and XRAY'ed her with the panoramic XRAY machine you seem to think is some sort of magical implement. For this they charged us $385 AFTER they dinged our Dental Insurance. The XRAYS were unusable. They showed overlapping teeth, and some were even missing. So maybe it is not the technology that matters, but how the techs are using the technology? Just saying.

OK a simple mistake by typing in the wrong number of the tooth. I told Bright Now of the problem and they said they would fix it. Six months later at my cleaning I asked about the correction and was told it was not done yet. One week later the tooth started hurting so I contacted Bright Now and the correction was not done yet and they couldn't see me for five more days. I made an appointment at 10 AM and when I showed up the door was locked and no one was there. I tried to call several times that day and got no answer. This type of ineptitude shown by a Medical Institution is beyond reason and I will be reporting them to the ADA.
