My husband's signature, our wedding date (we were together 12+ yrs, but got married 4 days before he passed), with Hawthorn flowers.

I went in to get a tattoo as a tribute to my late husband. Omar did a wonderful job on the design; it came out even better than I expected! I love the blending of the colors, and the white accents made it pop. Very friendly and professional.

I came in as a walk in to get a pretty large and detailed vine going down my arm, and Yesenia did an amazing job. All of the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and I couldn't recommend this place more. The tattoo ended up taking around 7 hours and Yesenia made sure to put as much detail as possible into the work at an extremely reasonable price. I'm planning on going in again for another tattoo next month.

So I finally designed one and after many days of my husband searching and what not (he's already got some tattoos) we decided to check out C/S. I couldn't have been happier with my first tattoo. Omar is fantastic. He wasn't obnoxious because I asked lots of questions. He was very patient with me sending him back to the drawing board to change this or add that etc. I've only talked to a handful of the employees there but they've all been super friendly. I just went back for my second one and again a fantastic experience. Nearly 2 1/2 times the time frame and wasn't sure what to expect because of the location on my arm, but it was a great experience again. I'm glad that I can tell them what I want and they definitely can interpret it out to beautify art on me. Thanks so much. The one with the flower was my first one. The tree was last night.

I will concur with other great reviews in particular about cover ups. I had an old one from 2007, that I regret, and had tried a couple laser treatments that only moderately faded it. Tired of being turned down over cover up jobs and always hiding this under bracelets I found Frankie who for an affordable price not only covered it but gave me a tattoo I love already. Would go back or recommend for sure. Friendly staff and quiet and comfortable, clean etc. Dutch Bros right across street too. Get a cool beverage and get work done and relax. Can't beat it :)

Highly recommend coming to this shop. Every member of the staff I met was welcoming from my phone call inquiring for more information to the day I walked in to make an appointment, where I was greeted by artists who were in the middle of working on tattoos with smiles and hellos. The front desk gentleman was knowledgeable and made me feel at ease with my decision to book with this shop. On the day of my appointment three other employees I met made the environment so welcoming you felt as if you knew them even when you had just met. Conversation was light and enjoyable making the experience that much more fun. This shop is thoroughly clean, floors appeared to have just been mopped when I came in at opening 12pm. Beautiful artwork adorned all of the walls. Seating in waiting area and in tattoo chairs were comfortable. Overall old school/classic tattoo shop feel. Pricing is exceptionally fair. My tattoo was done by Gonzalo. I couldn't be more happy with the results, clean lines, beautiful work. He is a professional through and through. After moving to the area a few years ago, I had been wanting to start getting tattooed again and heard about Corey and the other tattoo artists there through a local Facebook group. First I'd like to say this shop is so cool stylistically! It's also very clean and everyone I interacted with was very nice and inviting! I came in for a tattoo by Corey Boobar and it went great! I talked to him previously and he is super easy to talk too and very down to earth/chill guy . The design he made for me was absolutely beautiful, even better from what I envisioned. It was my first major tattoo and he made me feel comfortable and I trusted him fully. I could tell by the way he worked that he is very detailed and puts his heart into what he does, truthfully an artist. So glad I found him and this shop! Solid ass shop. Very Clean. Friendly. Everyone knows what they are talking about. Got some work done by Corey. Sent him some pics and told him a little bit about what I wanted. Amzing artist, took my mom to get her 2nd tattoo more like add ons to her old one.. sergio came through and shot a sick, very nice feminine tattoo on my moms leg. I have gotten both of my Blink-182 tattoos here as well as my octopus and am very happy with the results. Every one I meet loves the purple day of the dead "Hi My Name Is Mark" octopus on my forearm. I'd bring in the designs and they'd have everything ready to go quickly. I just need to go in to get them filled and touched up in a bit. read more

The inside of the building is clean, well-kept up, organized, and welcoming. Sergio, one artist, is so approachable, talented, friendly, professional, and helpful. Corey did my tattoo and is one of the most talented artists I've ever met. He listened to what I wanted and was able to draw the image I had from a very novice pencil sketch and add the colors that I requested; the best part was he created the tattoo that I wanted/explained without deviation (hard to do with a Type A person). Corey was patient, kind, down to earth, and just an all-around good person. My partner that was with me did mention it was the nicest & cleanest parlor he has ever been in. My friend and I went into the shop today to get a tattoo done, and we had an appointment with Omar. First off, the shop was very clean, very friendly, and a great vibe was coming from both of the men who were working today! I cant remember the receptionist name, but he was very nice, and easy to talk to as well as Omar. I have a large back piece that was done at a different shop that needs to be finished, and I asked Omar is its something that he would be interested in finishing, he answered yes. I came in here because I wanted to fix a tattoo that had been messed up at another tattoo place in Sac. They did a really good job fixing my tattoo. He fixed the mistake and made it look way better than before. You can't even tell it was messed up. I wanted a back piece so I decided to come back to C/S because Sergio did such a good job fixing the other tattoo. He is finishing my back piece now and it is coming out really good. Sergio really knows what he is doing. I was impressed with his skills. He definitively exceeded my expectations. He told me he has been doing art for a long time and has worked at 3 different tattoo shops, and now has opened his own tattoo shop here in Woodland. I'm glad there is a place that is local where I know I can get a good tattoo. What I like about C/S is that even though it is a new place, you know you will get a good tattoo because they know what they are doing. Sergio will make sure does his best give you the tattoo you want. It is his business so he isn't going to do something half-assed and make his own business look bad. I like it WAY better than my experience with the big tattoo shops in Sac because when you go to those places that have been opened for years and they have so much business that they don't really care when you walk in. They know they can do a so-so job and still make money from all their clientele. Yea, they might do a good job but it might not be exactly what you want. At C/S I don't feel like that will happen. My first tattoo at C/S Tattoo was done yesterday by Corey Boobar. He took my basic idea for a memorial tattoo for my mom and turned it into a beautiful work of art. I could not be more pleased. Not only is Corey a highly skilled, highly creative artist, he's also a pretty interesting and cool guy to chat with. I've already got my next 2 or three tattoos planned in my head and I'm excited to see what Corey does with them. My son is so impressed, he's planning on a visit in the near future. read more

Found @tattoosbygonzo530 on instagram booked an appointment and came home with this beautiful tattoo. Gonzalo took the time to listen to my ideas and helped me design the perfect piece. I went in today to get a tattoo on my wrist of my son's initial. He was killed in a car accident earlier this year. Sergio was able to use some of my son's ashes in the ink. The tattoo is amazing. He did such an awesome job and you could literally eat off of his floors the shop is so clean. I would recommend him to anybody. read more

My wife and I came here for tattoos. I got mine done by Cody and she got hers done by Corey. We both got our expectations exceeded on how great of a job they both did. On top of that the pricing was amazing compared to other places and the shop is very clean. This shop will be my go to place whenever I get another one. read more

I've had sevral great experiences at C/S tattoo. I've got work done here by several artist and am always happy with the treatment I get and the finished product. A very homey atmosphere, the prices were reasonable and my first tattoo turned out even better than I could have imagined! Everything was very clean and everyone was also very professional. I got a tattoo done on my shoulder and the line work and shading was absolutely amazing by this artist. It was 3 hours of work initially and Then I came back in for another 4 hours to finnishvthe shading. The work was great. Ibwould definitely come back for my next tattoo read more
