Year after year, they continue to provide great service professional, efficient, and always willing to answer any questions I have. They make the entire process smooth and stress-free, which is something you really appreciate when dealing with taxes. Because of my experience with them over the years, I always recommend Naso Tax whenever someone asks where they should go to get their taxes done. It's hard to find that kind of consistency and trust, and they've definitely earned it.

I've been with Sherry at Lopez Tax Service for a few years now and I don't plan on switching…read more Sherry is extremely knowledgeable in her area of expertise and offers great advice. She always have clientele waiting for her but take her time with you to ensure sure you understood what she's done. Throughout the years, Sherry fixed my taxes and made sure I am well prepared for the next coming year and what to expect. In addition to tax, she also provide other services such as insurance for cars and homes. The business is located off of Western in a plaza that is easy to get in and leave. Parking is plenty. She's located upstairs that is accessible by stairs and elevator. The receptionist, Vanessa is always professional and nice. She answer any questions I have and if she's not able to answer it, she will find a way to figure it out. You can always email Sherry with questions and she will personally reply to your email.

I previously used Lopez Tax Service without any issues, so returning to work with Sherry felt like…read morean easy and reliable decision. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience this time. Without going into excessive detail, I'll share enough to explain my concerns. After using her services for my 2024 taxes, I ended up owing a shocking amount--something that would have been avoided if I had been given accurate information from Sherry from the start. Throughout the entire process, communication was extremely frustrating. I made multiple attempts to reach Sherry by phone (including leaving messages with both the answering system and front desk), email, and text, but received little to no response. Due to this experience, I hired a new CPA who was able to clearly explain the process and provide the level of service I expected from a tax preparer. While trying to file my 2025 taxes, I was still waiting for my 2024 return to be completed and continued attempting to reach Sherry for assistance. At that point, I realized this situation was not going to be resolved through her. Ultimately, I asked my new CPA to step in and handle my 2024 return as well. They were able to correct the issues; that included incorrect reported income and spelling errors. He was able to complete both my 2024 and 2025 taxes the same day. I hope others do not have a similar experience, but if you have, then you likely understand how frustrating this situation has been.

If you are reading Yelp about CPA's trying to determine if Fong & Associates might be right for…read moreyou, please allow me to provide you with a bit of history. Long before there was Fong & Associates, there was Ray Frew (now retired) of Frew & Associates. I started having Frew & Associates do my tax work in about 1982. Frew & Associates grew into Rosenthal, Pearson, Fong and Few back in maybe the mid '90s. And now Merrietta Fong and her team have taken over the firm and given it a new name. I'm still having them do my taxes, and will, up to and after retirement in the not too distant future, and now our sons get their taxes done by them. It's one of the longest business relationships I've had in my life, come to think of it... happy being a 30-year-plus customer. If you're looking for a tax consultancy at the top of their game, fair and trustworthy, you can't do much better.

I've been to other tax places like Liberty and HR block, and was either scammed or they filed it wrong and I ended up getting penalized for it. With liberty they were cashing my checks then sending me a portion of it afterwards. But with these women you get it directly deposited to your bank. No runarounds or anything.
