He kept walking towards the back and motioned for me to follow. He brought me to a closet / breakroom where he had a small station set up. His station was sloppy and by sloppy I mean dirty and unorganized. On top of that there was no sanitary solution to clean his tools. Meanwhile the rest of the place has proper work stations. Not sure why I got the closet. I sat down and we proceed to go over how I'd like my hair cut. I show 4 similar reference photos and tell him how i usually style it. He starts cutting my hair at a snails pace. Anxiously I watch him go to work. He cut my hair completely different than the reference photos I showed him. At the end of the cut he attempted to style my hair with product and it looked ridiculous. It was the Dumbest looking thing I've ever seen. He asked me what I thought and I showed him the 4 reference photos again and he attempted to style it more like the photo. Anyway, i showered when I got Home and to wash out the product to get a better look at what he did. I essentially got a $46 dollar bowl cut. The best part is I had to get a passport photo the next day so now I have the luxury of looking at the monstrosity that is currently sitting on my head for another 10 years.. The saving grace is that he left my hair long enough to where I think I'll be able to salvage some semblance of a respectable haircut by fixing it myself at home. I hate to bash his skills because he was really Nice and easygoing. We engaged in pleasant small talk and I could tell he made a solid attempt to give me a good haircut. Apart of being a nice lady,Monika is far from a hair professional. My highlights came up in 2 brassy colors, she left the roots untouched and demaged my hair to a point I will have to shave it and let it grow all over again.
