Recently took my bass boat in for general maintenance, etc., as it had been sitting idle for a few years, and it was going to be gifted out to a very deserving, and appreciative young man. My concern beyond the normal, and routine maintenance, i.e., water pump impeller, carbs, was for safety, and operational functions to perform flawlessly. The staff at CH has had a reputation for excellence, and I was witness to the very same. They went completely through the 135hp motor. Performed compressions check, trim operation, wiring, bilge, livewell, etc., etc., performance in shop, and on the lake. Replaced all 3 batteries, (3-6 years old), fuel sending unit, trim gage, carb maintenance, steering, fuel hose, etc., etc. The team here, kept me abreast of each detail requiring attention, and explained the entire process along the way as if though I had no prior knowledge of boats, motors, and/or their operations. Each issue was addressed as to the pros and cons of repairs, and costs associated. There are several great companies in the lake area who perform the same services, but what made CH Marine stand out to me, is the exceptional personable concern for the clients issue(s), the attention to specific detail, and the unsurpassed work ethic demonstrated throughout the entire process of a full assessment and required repairs. I find it encouraging to know CH Marine practices an exceptional, and professional work ethic in their industry, and far superior than those of their peers, and much more efficient.
These guys were outstanding, and I can't say enough genuine nice things about them, and the services they provided. Extremely reasonable on their rates. Highly recommend them.
