The morning of the move someone called to inform me that they needed a card on file (which was not previously stated) told them that I was not comfortable with that because they stated that their company does accept cash payment (this was after a "deposit" to secure my spot for the next day). After going back and forth and a "call to the manager" the person named Jonathan said they didn't need my card anymore (red flag 1). When the guys finally showed up (my slot was from 8-10) at almost 2pm; Joshua asked where I was going and what floor I was going to be moving to. I told him the third floor and his response was "f**k." I apologized and he proceeded to state that the guy Jonathan did not tell him that he would be working to and that I was moving to the third floor. I was also shocked that there was NO COMPANY TRUCK! Just a U-Haul truck. I told them I didn't have any saran Wrap for the items (I've moved before and my previous movers wrapped my items when they arrived so I trusted them... that was MY mistake!) They moved quickly and got everything in the truck and threw away a bulk item. They drive off without me following and show up to my current residence, I beat them here and they called to inform me that they stopped for lunch... fine no problem. This is when things go from bad to worse. The job was "too much" for them and they called another company based in Houston to move my items upstairs, during which time things are thrown around including a leather chair and dresser that were damaged in the process. About the other company shows up they take off without a word or me making sure everything is out of their truck, the other guy move things in and after 20 minutes when the dust settles I realized that a dresser is not here along with a pair of expensive sneakers! As of today 07/05/2024 I found that my sons Nintendo Switch is also not here (this was located in my nightstand and all other items are here but that is not)! So AFTER letting them have a tv I'm out an expensive dresser that my mother gave me being GONE, sneakers and now my sons game system! I truly hate to name call but plain and simple these people are THIEVES! I was kind to them and even offered them beverages because it was incredibly hot that day; and this is how they repay someone's kindness?! If I knew then what I know now, I would've called others but I was in a pinch and they used that to their advantage! DO NOT USE THEIR "SERVICES!" If I could even call them that. But if you want items that you as a consumer worked hard for stolen then by all means! But when I did get in contact with them the same day about my dresser they gaslit me and said it was under the stairs and that they would get in touch with the complex to review the cameras... spoiler alert it wasn't there and this isn't a small or light piece of furniture and I haven't heard from them since! But i do that the items that were in the dresser (which doesn't make ANY SENSE!) I hate to sound cliche, but if I could give them ZERO stars I would! I will also be filing a claim with the BBB about these shady people! Thank you for making an already stressful situation even worse! This "compay" is a red flag! CONSUMER BEWARE!
