I did this, and received a call within 30 minutes (from Danville). The scheduler said no one could come out that night, but the plumber would be out between 9 and 11 the next morning. As I had already shut off the water inlets and outlets, bled the pressure, and the pipe was no longer spraying water, this seemed reasonable. At 8:40 the next morning, I received a call from Danville again, telling me that their plumber was off on Sundays, so the soonest they could get out was Monday after 5 PM. I was expecting and prepared to pay after hours / Holiday weekend rates for emergency service when I needed it. I didn't get that. Do not advertise "24/7" service if you aren't able to offer anything even close to that. I did call the Blacksburg office (the number listed in this page) to confirm that they had no availability for today. Not impressed. I'll wait for my regular guy if I'm waiting.

TLDR; This company put a roof on my house that didn't last even 1/4 of the promised time; when I reached out to negotiate reimbursement (because a new roof is needed), I was blocked by the owner, with no response. If you need any kind of roof work done on your home, or you want to be treated with any kind of respect, then absolutely DO NOT go to Brandon's Home Repairs. When he put a new roof on my mom's house (while he worked under a different company name), he assured her it would last about 4x as long as it actually has. We have to put a new roof on, which is expensive, so I reached out to the owner, to explain the situation and see if we could get compensation. Of course nobody expects their first request to just be paid, and I was fully open to negotiation, but it didn't seem to right to post a review without even giving him the chance to make it right. However, after being ignored, and now very obviously blocked, without any kind of response, I'm more upset than if he had just said no, or been unable to reach an agreement. When I looked up his previous business, I found that I'm not the only one this happened to, either. I guess if you're looking for a short term fix, then this business might be fine.
