First-Hand Experience: I have yet to see QOTS play at their home stadium, although I've walked on the Palmers turf. absolutely great place for kids , trainers are very helpful they opened it to get kids of the…read morestreets and give them something to do , they find most kids that join have temper issues and /or being bullied . it gives the kids some self respect and some idea how to handle themselves when in trouble . its not all about punching lumps out of one another , they teach you self defence , how to handle yourself if you find yourself faced with a knife, they have time to spend with newcomers and to teach them the basics, opens mondays wednesdays and fridays from 5.30 pm till 8.30 pm and on sunday evenings for womens self defence classes

Oh, and a local model plane club often flies their models here, which is always good watching! The big selling point is the sheer size. It's huge, and is pretty much used by joggers, walkers, and dogwalkers on a constant basis. Some weekends, you'll find dog agility competitions or pony club exhibitions going on, so some parts might not be accessible... but if you want to give your dog some exercise in new surroundings, and take in some new scenery, knock yourself out!
