That being said it looks like it's typically mostly standing room only with a small amount of chairs on the upper level. Looking through on their website, I did see pictures of events where the entire venue had folding chairs. Further shows I see there. I will be making sure to book a chair on the upper level because I am too old to be standing for all that time. The facility is beautiful. Super clean and the acoustics are great. Everybody working there seemed to be very friendly. I did not partake in any of their concessions, but I would imagine they are expensive at an event just like they are everywhere else. I would absolutely return to this business.

The layout is somewhat similar to Ace of Spades, but much nicer. We spent equal time down in the floor and in the balcony area (complete with a drink rail). All staff was just so gracious, welcoming, and helpful. It helped make the night really special, and we will definitely look for future events here.

The Morning Show My…read morecommute to work, Mon-Fri (which is about 10 minutes), is about the only time I listen to 106.5 The End. The Wake Up Call used to be Gavin, Katie, and Jason. Jason was fired in May of 2017 for reasons I don't know and has since been replaced by Rayne on the show. Rayne attempts to be the voice of reason between Gavin and Katie. This station is more for the younger generation... when my normal preset on an old skool station is switched to this station it means that my teen is sitting in the front passenger seat. As soon as I drop her off to school it goes back to my station :) These are the segments I catch during different days of the week on the Morning Show with Gavin, Katie and Rayne: * No Name Movie Game - win for prizes * Gavin & Rayne Joke Off - one rule: you laugh you lose * Are You Smarter Than Katie - battle of the brains between Katie and one caller to win jackpot prizes * War Of The Roses - who will the cheater send the roses to! actually one of my favorite segments! * Did You Know With Intern Kevin - Intern Kevin is my favorite personality in the Wake Up Call. He shares some fun facts he found on google to the rest of the group. He joined the Wake Up Call in 2013 and is still waiting to be paid for his contributions to the show. LoL! * Missed Connections - I have not heard any lately but the gang tries to rekindle relationships on Missed Connections they found on Craigslist. * Wake Up Call Confessions - the gang share some brand new confessions about themselves. Well, these are some of the segments I catch during my drive to work in the morning. Personally, I don't like Katie's voice but this is my 10-minute entertainment in the morning. The WUC is on weekday mornings - 5:30a to 10:00a. They were all at the EndFest 2017 summer concert at Raley Field last year. Review #0990

This started as an Internet-only all 90s station, or 90s On 9 via satellite radio. It's supposedly…read morethe first FM station nationwide (?) to feature this format. I knew Sacramento was a test market for new products & services, but this is TORTURE like animal testing. Basically, a computer was hired to play songs that were commercially released during 1990-1999. What I liked about that era was the alternative rock and grunge rock KWOD 106.5 FM played. The Buzz still plays Pearl Jam, Cake, Stone Temple Pilots and Nirvana -- but they mix in TLC, Prince, Faith Hill, and Notorious BIG. That's like a cook who has dropped a filet mignon (or tofu patty, if your vegetarian) on the floor, intentionally stomped on it a few times, put it back in the frying pan and served it to you on a fancy schmancy plate. IT'S JUST NOT RIGHT when your food has WEIRD BITS in it!!

Yeah I GUESS we still have 98 Rock, but they still cater MOSTLY to hard rock and classic rock, sure they're playing some alternative to try and make up for KWOD's loss but it's not the same. LET ALONE how small of a repertoire The Buzz has, I mean shoot I hear more "replays" on The Buzz than on 107.9 The End..... It's ok I don't even listen to shit ass regular radio anymore. I do sincerely feel sorry for anyone without the luck of having Satellite radio and or an i-pod. DIE BUZZ DIE!

When I first moved to the area at the beginning of 2010, I used to love this alternative rock station (I don't remember the name) that reminded me of my beloved Live 105 radio station in the Bay Area. I was stuck listening to the pop rock stations and top 40 for the next few years. Ugh. Then I discovered Radio 94.7 and I was in love! I finally got to hear my favorite alternative rock songs from the late 1990's that I loved and none of the repetitive crap that has been coming out within the last decade. I loved how you could text "like" or "dislike" while listening to vote for your favorite songs to keep them on air, or vote off the less popular ones. I've actually heard them cut off songs mid air because of this! Radio 94.7 never left my dial until recently they have been slipping a bit. Not unlike all the other stations in the area, they keep playing the same songs over and over and over again. What about all the other great alt. rock songs?! It seems like they play less than 100 songs on constant repeat. I find myself changing the channel more and more. They also have stopped doing the "like" and "dislike" feature 24/7. Now it's only during certain days/times. I will update the rating on my review of the downhill slide continues.
