Sadly, I have to complete the work that was NOT done for a water damage claim…read more I was told the issue was the shower drain. The contract kept getting revised after work was completed. The end result is my floor is one color n the vanity is another (it was to be replaced) but the flooring was already completed and I was told it was a shower drain issue, so the shower had to be replaced and the threshold between the hallway and the bathroom was not completed n I was told I'd have to pay an extra $500 for it. :( They told me they were coming back, but didn't :( I have a bathroom with two doors so one is done and one I still have to pay to get done.... Being an elderly person I feel I was taken advantage of completely... and before I can sell it, I'm gonna have to pay a few thousand to fix, sadly... I was threatened with having a lien placed on my home - so their paid n my bathroom looks terrible.... once paid, was seeking to gain help with finding a plumber- this place only does contracts- big projects ...so even in the end no one cared- I thought person to person I'd matter- nope!

My Farmers agent suggested that I call Don at Bauer for the ceiling damage. I was very impressed with how kind, understanding, professional regarding their ability to repair the damage at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them for any type of construction, painting or other repair work you need.

Patrick Brady and his competent crew recently replaced my old driveway, sidewalk and steps…read more Replacing the old steps was complicated because decorative stone front to the house was added after the original steps were in place. That meant removing and replacing the heavy stone pieces. Patrick did that complicated masonry himself and did a very high quality job of it. I was particularly impressed with the quality of work done to prepare the underlayment. The crew prepared the ground with care. In fact, a neighbor who happened to be replacing his driveway with another firm told me he thought that Concrete Results did a better job than his contractor did, going deeper and taking more time to adequately compress the underlayment. A few weeks later, the same neighbor said there was already a crack in his concrete. My driveway is perfect. Throughout the process, I found the crew to be considerate of my needs, friendly and polite. Each day of the process, the crew made sure to put tools and equipment away. Another positive; Concrete Results seals the concrete. Many other firms do not. While Patrick's bid for the job wasn't the lowest, I definitely feel that I made the right decision. There is a competence in his work that is sometimes lacking these day. I would definitely recumbent Concrete Resist to anyone looking for such a project. A+ for competence, service and quality.

SMA Exteriors redid my roof in 2024 after a hail storm. In 2025 I discovered water leaking into my…read moregarage where the roof and gutter meet the wall. Turns out they never installed a kickout flashing/bump out in that spot. When I called, they came back and added it for free, but told me there "wasn't one there before" when they did the roof. To me that admits they knew it should have been there. Kickout flashing costs cents and is basic code/best practice to prevent water intrusion. Because it was missing, water ran behind the siding and rotted the wall sheathing. I had to tear off drywall in the garage and found the damage. When I asked SMA to help, they said it's not covered under warranty and isn't their fault. Their reasoning was the damage is "old" because there was never flashing there originally. My response: if the job was done correctly in 2024, we wouldn't be debating old vs new damage. I didn't open the wall until a year after their work, and the sheeting was rotten underneath. I spoke with owner Steve. He said, "we can agree to disagree" and that they aren't willing to help. When I asked why his crews or project manager missed this, he said they notice and add kickouts now, but "must not have known to add them before." Meanwhile my garage has water damage from work they did, and they aren't concerned with helping a past client. To make it worse, this house was purchased from a friend. SMA tried to use that against me, implying they would've helped the previous owner but not me because "my name isn't on it." That's a terrible way to stand behind your work. I've read their responses to other bad reviews - lots of talk about how long they've been in business and how they "treat everyone right." Yet multiple people are saying the same thing: issues get denied and not fixed. Stuff happens in construction. The difference between a good company and a bad one is whether they fix mistakes they caused. The most ironic part: this is a company that will argue with insurance that damage isn't "old" when it benefits them, but the moment a homeowner questions them, suddenly everything is "old damage." Can't have it both ways. Plenty of honest roofers in the area who will actually fix their mistakes instead of walking away. Look elsewhere

This is an awful company! WATCH OUT!…read more This company was contracted to do work at my neighbors on a garage roof that overhangs a shared alley. Two guys from this company made a huge mess, leaving nails and debris in the alley. I drove by to get to my house, the only way for me to get home, and one of their roofing nails punctured the sidewall of my front tire. Immediately after driving by and arriving home I noticed the nail. I walked back to the garage later on and found another one of the EXACT SAME roofing nails that I found in my tire, so don't tell me it wasn't your nail! I drive an AWD Subaru and the tire couldn't be patched, so I was required to buy a set of 4 new tires. I was told that they would pay for 1/2 of the expense, but this happened a month ago and I still haven't seen anything. Can't get a hold of anybody in the company whenever I call and it sounds like the owner doesn't come in for long periods of time. Maybe if they did, things like this wouldn't happen. $800.00 down the drain because of this company's negligence and inability to clean up after themselves. Unprofessional and unresponsive- take your business somewhere else! Take accountability and compensate me for the damage you caused! UPDATE: The owner of this company, Steve, agreed to pay for part of the four tires, but not until I take this post down and come in to sign paperwork that I won't post bad reviews about the company. Yikes! Never got paid. Avoid this business. If you don't believe me, read one of their many other 1-star reviews
