I feel like I can come in here to browse and truly find some great treasures without being overwhelmed. For example, I came in one day to find the entire Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher. I picked them up for my husband, and he was beyond excited - they were the covers for the first run of the series which, although not "rare" can be a bit hard to get your hands on. I think I paid about $5 per book, and they're in awesome shape. These are the kinds of special finds I love to come across in second hand bookstores :)

Lots of bootlegs in the store intermingled with regular stock. Seriously, entire bands catalogs were just immediately recognizable as terrible, low-quality bootlegs inexplicably marked at a notable upcharge. Claims there is a dedicated section for them and customers were moving them. I highly doubt customers were taking entire bands catalogs and painstakingly alphabetizing them in regular stock. Honestly since they downsized it feels like they stopped caring about their store and customers. Would recommend Record Ship over them, as they make sure you are aware you are buying bootlegs and are generally more friendly and helpful. Or make the trip out to Permanent Records, the owner is awesome to chat with and the store is lovely.

We waited and finally a woman sauntered over in front of two aisles. I asked which one was she using and she said this one in a not so nice tone of voice. Like I was stupid or something. She was not friendly about it at all. Then we pushed our cart up out of the way and preceded to pay for our items when she asked if that was our cart. I said yes and she said to get it and put it back outside! I told my husband that we needed to move it which he did. I have never had to take my own cart back out the front door before! I've never been told to take my own cart out the front door at any other store! Plus, her overall attitude makes me to never want to go back.
