They have no manger or any helpful people to help with sales of permits or guns and knives

CAL Ranch is a fun store. Its a mix of hardware store, ranch store, sporting goods and home store. Employees are always friendly and the prices are on par with anywhere else in town. A lot of fun stuff like fishing gear, farmhouse decorations, weird soda and even some little dirt bikes and quads for the kids. I stop here every year on my trip to Idaho to get my fishing license, tackle and bait. read more

This is a one size fits all Ranch store. I was there to shop for some clothing items for work, and it seemed a bit pricey to me. Of course, I WAS in Burley, ID, and this store is the one to carry what is needed a long way from major markets. They do have a large selections of items, but if you really need it, you are going to pay the price on the tag. I really wasn't impressed with the girls working the registers. The one waiting on me rang up my Under Armor purchase, and whispered to the other girl with a "OMG, these are $50 in such a way that she couldn't believe I was buying the item". Ummm, I am standing right in front of you! Then, after the phone rang, she picked it up while trying to finish my transaction. Still talking on the phone, she handed me my receipt without even looking at me or acknowleding a purchase with a thank you. read more

All the adult clothes are loose fit. I just want a regular fit shirt and jacket. Poor selection of slim fit wrangler jeans.

Every time I go into the Store in Burley ID, the front cashiers are rude. I called to order a product and was told I couldn't be helped because they were doing inventory. I called back several weeks later and was rudely greeting on the phone then left on hold for 15minutes before I hung up. I called back the next day, rudely greeted again, was put on hold to be picked up by the correct department waited on hold for 5 minutes. A gentleman picked up, I told him what is was looking for and he said he had to transfer me to a specialist. On hold for another 5 minutes, someone picked up and asked what I was on hold for. I told her and held for another 5 minutes. The "specialist" picked up, I described the item I was looking for. she said I would have to call the manufacturer directly. I told her that I cannot order direct as the manufacturer referred me to a dealer of which Cal Ranch was listed. she put me on hold again and came back several minutes later and said she would have to call me back because she can't find the item. I asked her to transfer me to the store manager instead so I could give my feedback. I was on hold for another 5 minutes with no answer and ended up hanging. I will go into the store and speak to the manager directly if I can locate them. :( read more
