He handed my husband a card right away and introduced himself. Believe me this is a rarity now days. After receiving all the bids we decided to use Sumner Construction. Andy returned to start the measurements, taking pictures and notes as to what we were looking for in a repair/redo project. I met with and received estimates for painting the interior of the house from 6 painting companies. I chose Perfect Painting & Repairs because they gave the best presentation of what they would do. Robbie (one of the owners) came out to see what we wanted and really knew her stuff. We agreed on a time for them to come out and start the job. There was an estimated 4 days of work to paint the house and garage. There is a crew of 4, including owner Ken. They each had jobs and worked seamlessly. They were able to finish in 2 1/2 days which was wonderful. Some of the hardest things they had to do was paint a room that had a huge dark area where a large desk sat that the previous owner just painted around instead of moving it. They were able to blend it perfectly so you can't tell where it was. The next was they replaced a baseboard that had damage and painted so you would never know. They also patched a hole in the wall where a light was removed. The last were deep scratches across a pocket door into the main closet. All of these problem areas were repaired perfectly. I highly recommend Perfect Painting & Repair. They were right on time and were there when they said they would. They did excellent at both the painting and the repair they did for us. They, also, cleaned and vacuumed after finishing the job. Every worker-Makaiah, Shane and Jorge were all great guys. I would happily have them back!

They explained they were short-staffed and that the estimator had gotten sick. Two weeks passed. The estimator finally called and wanted to come out again because he couldn't remember which house we were. After jogging his memory, he said that the estimate would be forthcoming. Another two weeks passed with nothing. I then called the office and was told they were still pending on bids for materials from subcontractors. Another two weeks passed. Today I just got from a different person at Voss saying that they were still waiting on those bids for materials. If just the estimate takes this long, with such poor communication, I can't imagine how they would be once the actual job started.
