The dining room is big and shiny and fancy in a rustic way. The gleaming copper gives the place a somewhat trippy orange hue. The service is friendly and right on point; their English is really good even if they do have to reach for a word now and then. The highlight of the menu for most locals would be the ribs. They're solid enough. You can get 500g or 750g of 'em. They're tender, smoky, flavorful, and obviously generously apportioned. Cool wood-like plates and nice heavy knives. The beers here are indifferently made, but the biersnaps was very nice. It's a fun place to stop off.

A good place for groups and families…read more Their ribs are not the greatest, but pretty okay for its price - I had a 500g plate (175kr), and it was easy to finish it all by myself! My husband went for a 750g plate (215kr). The cole slaw and baked potato that accompanied the ribs were tasty! For dessert, I asked if they had just some ice cream, which they did (not on the menu) and it came with two generous scoops of really good/rich vanilla ice cream - only for 29kr. (cheap for the Danish standard). This was great! I'd have loved to give them 4 stars, but the service we got on this day was not very good (our server was not friendly- a bit mean indeed) and thus minus 1 star - sorry :(
