The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I recommend getting a reservation, if you go for dinner. We went for lunch and it is the same menu as dinner. I ordered a local Dunkel beer and the currywurst sausage plate with spicy fruit sauce and a side salad. It was probably the best currywurst I have ever tasted. Even the side salad was carefully assembled with a nice dressing. My husband ordered the breaded and stuffed chicken with spinach and it was also very good. The muesli was excellent. It was served with quark, milk, and dried and fresh fruit. I'd never tried quark before, but it sure does beat the traditional American yogurt! My hubby got the big breakfast. I had some of his bread with the jam and it was divine. Service was friendly and spoke English.

My wife and I went there with my stepson and his fiancee on june 26th 2021, we had no reservation and were offered a very pleasant table in the restaurant. The tables are well placed and the one we had was separated from the other by a curtain, a nice touch. The room felt spacious, simple but well decorated. The menu is on a large blackboard and we chose 4 different dishes: a vegetarian salad which my future daughter in law enjoyed, a fabulous steak cooked to perfection and 2 fish dishes which were surprisingly copious and simply fabulous.
