Customer service WAS better at this shop! There was a beautiful and kind lady working here in a bright red suit! She made sure we knew we were welcome and properly introduced to her products. Very warm and friendly!! I *think* what I ended up purchasing is a type of marzipan.. there were flavors like raspberry, strawberry and lemon.. oh my gosh the lemon really got me but yes I bought all the kinds. One…read moreof my co-workers likes black licorice so I thought that I would get some for him while traveling in Europe. Even if I am in Austria and not Sweden. I asked the shopkeeper about their selection of black licorice and the number of options was far more than I was expecting. It looked like there was about 20 different varieties to choose from with varying flavors. I had no idea that you can get sweet and salty versions of it. Since I didn't know what type my co-worker liked, I opted to get a mix of sweet and salty which you can do. In addition to black licorice, there are many other kinds of candy and confections available. Some sold in packaging and some sold in bulk. They also have some Swedish grocery products here. If you are looking for a candy shop in Salzburg, this is a good spot to visit. The fact that it is Swedish is an added plus.

This place has been doing this for over a hundred years need I say more? They know what they are doing. Minus a star as their competitor's aced them out with one single employer!! This place has Many employees but unfortunately, they were not friendly to your girl and her sweet son. Why? No clue. I had money to spend here.. and I did spend it but next time, if you aren't a bit friendlier, I will not purchase.
