We were there with our five year old daughter and as we were getting ready to leave, she attempted to say "food was delicious, thank you" in German and our waitress rewarded her with sweets. A very nice touch. The sausages and Ham and cheese toast were excellent as was the fantastic dessert. Prices were very reasonable. Great spot!

They offer gummi bears and gummi candy of various sorts; I was here for the vegan ones, which are clearly labeled and available in a couple of types and sizes. They also have sugar-free, and lots of regular if that's your jam. Service is very friendly; I speak a little German but could have gotten by if I didn't. They were also kind enough to point out I'd grabbed some sugar-free bears, and was that what I wanted? I'm not sure I'd make it a special stop again, but definitely worth a stop if you're nearby and you like gummi bears.

The signs were all in German so I picked my ball the way I pick my wine, looks only. Once I decision I did ask what it was and the staff said milk chocolate. It's a bit oddly shaped so lots of crumbs or I just a messy eater. Cookie-ish. It's nice to try something new although I wouldn't say this is a must if you're visiting Fussen.

Loads of sugar, kind of hard, not much flavor (other than "sweet" - kind of like how you'd describe rock candy). Loads of bees hanging out on the balls - it felt a little unsanitary (and clearly I should have known how terribly sweet these were with all the bees). Still, I tried because it looked too interesting not to. Don't do it! Not worth the $ or calories.
