I give the 5-star rating based on the below…read moreaspects: Although it is a chained bakery, in this backer's corner inside the Isenburgzentrum, a lot of breads are freshly baked. For example Brötchen (buns and bread rolls) and croissants are baked on site in the mornings, and baguettes are baked and served in the afternoons. When I visited the bakery in the mornings, I really enjoyed the taste of the fresh, delicate and still-warm buns/bead rolls and croissants. The chocolate croissant at Erster Weiner, by the way, is one of the best I have ever had. When I visited the bakery in the afternoon, I would get a baguette home and enjoy immediately the fresh textures and delicate taste of the baguette bread. The above are to be had best on the same day. If I would to get some bread to store for the next days, I would go for the typical German breads (for example Roggenmischbrot, Mehrkornbrot...etc), which are also quite good. The bakery also have cakes/desserts, but I am less interested in the sweets, and thus I did not try much. I however see that the bakery owner has been working on developing new product options and to seek for improvement. I was recommended to try the cinnamon rolls, multi-grain bread rolls, and carrot cake (which were great!) when they were newly developed. One day I noticed that the bakery was serving muffins (which was new) and gladly ordered one to try, but found out that the muffins were not done well - too wet and too sweet. Although I did not provide a feedback on that, after that day I did not see muffins on the shelf anymore. It seems to me that the owner does strive to improve, which is a very positive sign for customer. Highly recommended!

They also offer a full café menu, making it a great place to relax and spend some quiet time. Seating is limited but comfortable: four tables that seat four people each, plus around six counter seats. English is spoken, and credit cards are accepted, which is always convenient. I highly recommend the apple and walnut cinnamon roll -- it's generously filled all the way through and absolutely delicious. The location itself is very clean and inviting. The staff friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back as I heard they also do wedding cakes, I'll have to definitely look into that.
