Florian was very friendly and we began to discuss the various bikes on display. After I expressed an interest in the Butchers & Bicycles brand electric transporter he offered to let me ride it. What a cool and useful bike this is. The articulated frame allows you to get the feel of a two wheel bike but on a more stable three wheeled platform, and it is extremely maneuverable. The electric motor and the gearing and the disc brakes make it very responsive in traffic. Anyway, this is undoubtedly the go to spot for transporter bikes in Munich and I've rarely found a friendlier or more inviting place to buy a bike. Looks like they make a pretty good espresso too... Shawn was off the dock and in the cool water first , watching over us as we dove into the lake . What a refreshing swim. Tyler was leading the bike ride on the small road back as Shawn followed bring ing up the last of us safely.Tyler also watched over us to make sure we all arrived to our fabulous lunch at the roadhouse style restaurant. I'm not sure if he thinks he's running the German bicycle version of the Antiques Road Show but something I'd sell on EBay for 10 Euros he's often asking 50 Euros plus for. Bizarre! Thus... no stars (unfortunately, I can't leave no stars) for this guy or his customers. The only good thing that I can say about this shop is it's location next to the Cinema München which gives you something to do while waiting for movies to start.

I would have saved a few bucks by going to another place but the quality and level of service makes up for it. It's a bike shop with some nice bikes and accessories. It's also a repair shop and they do something rarely seen in bike shops across Munich, they clean the bike thoroughly before handing it back to you after a service :-) They were very transparent with their pricing and talked me through all the options for tires and so on. They sent me an email to let me know the bike was ready for pickup and quick to get me out of the shop after explaining what they had done. Last but not least, the bike was sparkling clean :-) I would go here just for that alone ;) I am glad I went here finally and will be back again. It's a great shop in the neighbourhood.
