Best burgers in Bury! It's a good hearty sized burger with a juicy patty. Buns slightly toasted for extra texture. If you are craving a burger this is the place to be! You don't want to pass on these burgers. The milkshakes are what you need to wash down the gourmet burger that you've just consumed. I highly recommend the "freak shake" if you are feeling adventurous.

I've just attended the Byron Burger, Bury St Edmunds opening night. I really must commend the first class service and efficiency of the staff, despite the plethora of attendees and queues of people standing in the poring rain; our food arrived quickly, correctly and without fuss, mouthwatering and plenty enough to fulfil the largest appetites. Another great Byron restaurant!

I had the skinny Byron n hubby had the Smokey. They both were delicious! The Byron sauce is amazing paired with the onion rings!

I am American, I am a huge foodie, and I eat steaks and food all around the world. I was able to say, "that was the best steak I have ever had in my life!" I had the 9oz Kangaroo fillet cooked medium rare. It was perfect. My whole table ordered Kangaroo, either the fillet, or the hamburger. Everyone was quite pleased. The Kangaroo fillet is lean protein, won't make your waist line bulge. It was so tender, I cut it with a butter knife. It needed nothing, just the steak itself, it was absolutely delicious. The service was good, although our service was novice, I suggest in the future before he steps out into the field memorize the menu before you start seeing customers, I got a lot of "I don't knows", but that is OK, it's a training issue, but the food was fantastic and that is all that mattered. I enjoyed a nice glass of port afterwards and my lot enjoyed the guest ales they had on top. I've also experimented with the pizzas, they are quite nice, but who needs a pizza when you can have a Kangaroo fillet? I eagerly await my next meal at the Station, I look forward to trying another exotic animal.

The pepperoni wasn't even baked into the pizza, and it kept falling off. It doesn't come sliced, but when I was trying to cut it, it was such a struggle. I was better off going to Domino's or Pizza Hut honestly. I had to send it back. They replaced it and I got the Cajun chicken wrap that came with cole slaw and fries. The wrap was slightly better; at least it had some kind of flavor to it. The fries were hard with no seasoning. I even tried to add salt and pepper, I still couldn't eat it. I wasn't a fan of the cole slaw either. The only thing I got that was decent were the mozzarella sticks and the bottled Arizona tea. Obviously from my one star I would not recommend eating here. What a shame.

They have a huge bar with an extensive cocktail list (my wife was in heaven). We went on a Friday night and had to wait at the bar for about half an hour before our table was ready which is pretty good I think. The food wasn't bad. I had calamari for a starter which was unbelievably good. That was followed by a Black and Blue Burger which was not bad. Good size portions. The service here was friendly and I never had any problems getting there attention. I was pleasantly surprised when the bill came as I was expecting to pay more. Loads of pay and display parking just across the road. There are many more places in Bury St Edmunds that I would like to try before coming back to Frankie and Benny's, however I can see me coming back here one day. I want to give this place 3 stars but we had such a fun experience, I think it's only fair to give 4 stars!
