I wrote a review on Byright auto sales 2 years ago, It was not nice. I had just purchased a 2012 kia forte with only 63,000 miles on it. The kia was a nice looking car and it ran decent. a couple of days after putting a down payment on it of 5.000 dollars I started hearing what I thought was a ticking sound from the engine at least that's what I was told from a couple of mechanics, they made me believe something was wrong with the car. To make a long story short Purchasing a car from Byright auto was the best thing I did. I have had this car for 2 years now I have never had a problem at all. I went in to Byright a few Days ago to make my last Payment, Also to apologize for the horrible reviews i left in the beginning. I feel like it's only fair to do a review based off of my experience with Byright car dealership. My experience with them has been great. Tommy is great. Please don't not purchase a car here.they are unprofessional .I purchased a Honda Odyssey van it was a piece of junk it was pretty tho .it had a bad odor inside .didn't bother me much. but found water in a hidden compartment in the floor of the van.dont know why. carpet had spots all over.didnt matter.but less then a month after eCheck passed started running hot took it back they supposedly fixed it.the mechanic informed me that he wasn't a certified mechanic didn't matter needed my vehicle .so I was told it was ok to drive .in less then two days the same problem accured they towed it from my home no paperwork to sign again unprofessional .I kept calling to see what was going on never received a call.they keep putting me off .never got a chance to to talk to seller.i got his cell phone off Facebook then text him Tommy is his name .then he finally responded after a week after towing my van telling me I blew the engine .how can I blow the engine in two days if they supposedly fixed the problem the first time I brought it in.now I'm back on the bus and lost $1000 and 2 payments of $250 in less then a month for a piece of junk. Do not buy a car here. The definitions of the word honest and integrity must not be known. I bought a car here from Jimi stating that I needed something safe and reliable to comfortably get to and from work, while pregnant. Jimi has been uncooperative with the concerns my fiancé and I have brought to him. I have had the car for about a month and it is sitting downstairs in the same spot since about a week ago. The brakes have completely failed. 24 hours into having this vehicle my radiator blew up and there has been several important replacements done. I came to them, because I was low income and perceived Jimi to be a genuine guy. Since I bought this car I've had to spend nothing but money that I truly can't afford to spend. I have paid for half of the car including repairs and whatever I have given them for the car. He's rude, dishonest, and unprofessional has even hung up in my fiancé's face! When I purchased my vehicle they included in the contract a guarantee that it would pass e-check...however, it has failed 3 times. When I tried to contact Tommy to resolve this issue all I got was run around. First he asked me to get it checked out and have the shop send him an itemized list of what was wrong.. I did this and contacted Tommy for the next step. Tommy laughed and told me I would have to go through his own mechanic which I was willing to do but he refused to provide me with his mechanics phone number, stating that they only work with dealers. At this point Tommy wont even speak with me he called me several names and repeatedly hung up on me. I am completely shocked and dumbfounded that the OWNER of an establishment would behave this way. HE should have not made any guarantees he was not willing to live up to. I have since contacted a lawyer specializing in lemon laws since this dealership did not follow the FTC Used Motor Vehicle Trade Regulation Rule, also misrepresented the vehicle and broke the contract which he wrote.Tommy's dealership is aimed at families with low income and/or bad credit because he assumes low income equals low IQ....
