My overall experience with this dealer is "OK" considering we're in a time that trucks are hard to…read morefind. They were able to find one and get it bulky for me in a timely manner. But I know first hand that all salesman's are not created equal through my lengthy search for a truck. I ended up with a salesman and agent from Heritage that did not know the right questions to ask me during the build/spec process and did not fully understand the truck to show me once it came in. Wish I would have had someone that understood my needs better as not all trucks and truck owners have the same needs/wants. I just assumed some things were standard and I was wrong. Long story short... I had to Google many buttons that were on the dashboard after I left the dealership. The same thing with warranties on different components of the truck. And lastly... the biggest issue I have... is that I'm stuck with a Frankenstein truck! The box should have been mounted to the rear of the cab like the rest of the dumps out there! Once I caught wind of this, it was too late and they tried to charge me 12 grand to change it. I ordered a set back axle for unique Michigan weight advantages and the box placement took that from me. It also created an overhand on the back that causes many other issues for me. If you're building from scratch like I did... make sure to ask the right questions. Even if you think they're silly questions to ask. If you don't, you might end up with something you didn't want. And at 200 grandish.... These mistakes in retrospect are a hard pill to swallow once it's finalized! To be fair on everything else... this truck seems to have been put together nicely. I do not think they're bad at building trucks... I just wish these details would have been discussed better.

Do not bring anything to the service department-so un profesional…read morethe service manager was very rude and when after my truck sat for a week he was asked when where they going to fix it for the tenth time, his smart ass comment was i think maybe that truck needs a new engine DO NOT BRING A VEHICLE TO VALLEY FREIGHTLINER
