Byrd Drug is a very cute pharmacy/food counter. It has a lot of antique toys and pharmacy memorabilia that's fun to look at while whatever you order is heated. The biscuits are good but greasy. Nothing really stands out about them but they are good enough that you'll want to go back for more. There's different sandwiches but the locals rave about breakfast but they seemed to be like every other southern corner store. read more

Best pharmacy in town! They deliver! The deli has awesome food. They have the best BLT I have yet to taste, and you can't beat the chicken salad or pimento cheese. Their breakfast is wonderful as well. read more

A definite throw back of a by gone era in customer service and appearance. Family run business where all are treated like family. Great lunch counter served by ladies any one of which could be your Mom and food served with love. Usually a wait of less than 10-15 minutes for scripts to be filled and a Pharmacist happy to come out from behind the counter to render an opinion or assistance. The experience is what going to the drug store used to be and other towns should be jealous of Troy, AL for having a Byrd's drugs. read more
