To our great dismay, by only the third week of June, the bracelet had already broken twice. On each occasion and for no apparent reason, it broke apart between two of the links. After the first time it broke, I gave Eric the opportunity to repair it. When it broke the second time, I requested a refund--in person, in a phone call and in an email. Eric has wrongfully refused my requests for a refund. And now we are out the good money we paid for the bracelet and left with a broken subpar bracelet that can't be worn. Clearly, the bracelet is defective. For it to have broken two times and within such a short span of time is not normal. It indicates that it is not "fit for its ordinary purpose". NJ recognizes an implied warranty that merchandise sold is fit for its ordinary purpose. Eric has cited that he has a no return policy. He refuses to acknowledge that I am not seeking a return under an ordinary return policy (i.e., because I changed my mind, wrong size or color, etc.), I'm seeking a remedy for defective merchandise he sold me. What kind of business operates like this? In light of the poor way I was treated and the poor quality of the product I purchased, BUYER PLEASE BEWARE of Jewelry By Eric! Stay away! UPDATE: I just learned that Eric is now lying and blaming the defect/damage on my daughter by saying the damage was caused by "customer's use of the bracelet ." Funny, on neither occasion when I brought the broken bracelet back to him for his inspection, did he mention anything about the damage being my daughter's fault. The fact that he is falsely accusing my daughter of being responsible for the damage is appalling and offensive. She is currently a resident/doctor at a top medical institution who knows how to wear and care for fine jewelry. Again, I warn the public: Do Not Shop at Jewelry by Eric! He and his jewelry are not to be trusted.

She took all of my completely scattered & obtuse feedback, listened graciously, and baked it all into an amazing experience over the course of 3 consulting sessions: 1) teaching me about the different characteristics of diamonds (lab grown vs genuine) and rings (materials, designs) 2) custom designing the ring based on different design elements seen on my fiancé's Pinterest and her (vague) verbal hints 3) emailing back and forth until the 3D modeling was perfect! 4) picking up in record time... only 4 weeks! In the end, I came in knowing absolutely nothing about this world -- now, I have complete confidence in the ring we designed together and my friends have even asked me for advice as they go through this. Christine was amazing and provided the perfect amount of guidance to empower me, but also step in when I was uncertain. The proposal went perfectly and my fiancé LOVED the ring. It was a bit loose, so we made use of the little ring adapter that Christine provided to keep it snug while we were traveling. Then as soon as we got back, we took it in for a resizing (complementary) and it was super cool to introduce my fiancé to this gem (pun intended) of a shop I was secretly sneaking off to this whole time.
