I checked in, filled out my paperwork, and was seen within about 10 minutes. I was feeling very dehydrated and weak, so they took my blood sugar, checked my vitals, examined my throat and ears, and ran tests to rule out flu, COVID, and strep. It was very reassuring to see them taking the time to rule out all the major concerns. They determined I was fighting an infection, so I received a steroid shot and my first dose of antibiotics right there in the clinic. They even had me wait a while afterward to make sure I didn't have any adverse reactions, which I appreciated. They sent my prescriptions promptly to the H-E-B next door, and I didn't have to wait long before I was headed home. I truly cannot recommend this urgent care enough. Story: My wife had been complaining of throbbing neck pain that radiated down her neck into her shoulders and limited mobility (turning her head) for the last few months. We had attended a local young professional's event and was recommend to see Dr. Hill from a friend who had seen him in the past. With their recommendation, I made an appointment, and he was able to get her in on the same day! The size of the office is hard to gauge from the outside, but once you get in, the place is equipped with a physical therapy gym, a radiology room, 2-3 medical massage practitioners, and an onsite MD! After getting a history and performing a short exam, he adjusted her upper back and neck. Then went on to perform - if I remember correctly the "Graston Technique" in which he used an instrument to rub out deep tissue tension that had built up in her shoulders going up her neck. After she stood up, she immediately noticed an increase in her range of motion. Before the adjustment, she was not able to look all the way to her left or right. After the adjustment, she was able to look in both directions with no pain! Conclusion: Even now, a few days after her adjustment, she is still saying that her neck/upper back is feeling "way better." As we all know the saying "happy wife happy life" - so I myself - am elated as well! I cannot say enough how impressed I am with Dr. Hill's professionalism, treatment, and the Mission City Healthcare facility!
