Otherwise they do take the local bank's debit card. If you are a traveler, they don't take VISA, MC or AMEX. No notice posted about that-- so big surprise when checking out. We had slightly less cash than the bill. Also, they charge 3euros to share a pizza! . They dropped the sharing charge, so that our total cash-in-pocket ended up sufficing. I was lucky to get a small table by myself near the window next to the entrance. There is always something calming about eating alone in a cozy small restaurant. Maybe it's a European effect, or something from the sense of solitude as a lone traveler, you zone out but at the same time realize everything and become super aware to your surroundings and the conversations around you, absorbing the culture and sounds. I'm told the chef and owner is from Sicily, while I'm sorry to say this isn't the best pizza I've had in my life, I can definitely say it was worth the money. I am an avid fan of thin crust and they met my expectations. Maybe it's because I am a "fat over-consuming American", but I would've appreciated just a little more toppings and cheese. Nonetheless, if you're in the area and looking for an Italian restaurant, then Mamma Mia is a safe bet!
