Despite the part number being obsolete, she was able to cross-reference it to a current Whirlpool part number and put us on the list for Thursday. Sadly, the part missed the scheduled install, but they received it in time for Friday's repair run -- not their fault. This is our second experience with this company and both were pretty good, but fair warning -- prices have gone up since 2019. Despite that, I'll still give them a 5-star rating for quickly replacing the switch with an OEM substitute (once they got it) and restoring the dryer to service with what was basically a 10-minute repair visit.

He could not read the error codes on the washer correctly and the parts he THOUGHT it needed were not cheap and now I am stuck with them. He was merely grasping at straws and honestly had no idea. Even asked if I could give him a few extra dollars because he made 4 trips out due to not knowing what was wrong. Washer was looked at by Logan Master this morning, a correct diagnosis was made and the parts and labor will be ordered and warrantied by them. Washer is a basic model Amana, 4 years old. The repair person came out…read moreand spent 5 minutes and looked at the stove (didn't take anything apart) and said the faulty temperature / time display was on back order and did not have any idea when the part would be in stock. He said he would contact us when the part was in and then repair the display. 2 months later and a couple texts to his phone, we received no response. I then contacted CJS appliance repair found through my Lowes extended warranty company for a Samsung stove (I do not recommend Samsing stoves. Nothing but a problem). Courtney came out and immediately diagnosis the problem. He said we would drive to Cincinnati and get the part that was available. 2 hours later the stove display was fixed when the other company could not fix after 2 months. He said he would submit the service invoice to the warranty company, and we did not have to pay anything during the service. I will contact Courtney / CJS Appliance in the future. He did a great job!

I feared the worst, but Vacuum Concepts did a great job of repairing and tuning it up and it's been great ever since. Glad we found them. The new location (just a few storefronts down) is spacious, clean and well stocked. They had some nice U.S.A.-made lambswool dusters and I bought one for cleaning ceiling corners and blinds. I was unhappy that they added a surcharge for using a payment card to purchase this merchandise. I do not recall if that was the case back when we had the repair done, but it is now so be prepared.
