Sadly, the part missed the scheduled install, but they received it in time for Friday's repair run -- not their fault. This is our second experience with this company and both were pretty good, but fair warning -- prices have gone up since 2019. Despite that, I'll still give them a 5-star rating for quickly replacing the switch with an OEM substitute (once they got it) and restoring the dryer to service with what was basically a 10-minute repair visit.

That is the way they have always been over the last 20 years or so, we may have one problem to be taken care of, but they check to make sure nothing obvious related to it exists as well. Everyone on the team is extremely good at what they do. Reasonable cost, great service, quick and very professional. The initial delivery was canceled when the installer incorrectly claimed my water shutoff valve was defective. After spending $200 on a plumber, I learned there was nothing wrong with the valve at all. When the appliances were delivered a second time, the washer arrived dented. Although the damage was photographed by the delivery team, Appliance Factory failed to follow up, lost calls/records of my complaint, and later tried to shift responsibility to Speed Queen for damage that occurred during their own handling of the appliance. When a service person finally came out to replace the damaged panel for the washer, he also identified what appeared to be a bad drum roller in my brand-new dryer. However, when Speed Queen contacted Appliance Factory to see what he observed, they denied sending a person to my home to repair the washer. Between the unnecessary plumbing expense, the damaged washer, the outright lie to Speed Queen, and time spent trying to get someone to take responsibility, this was one of the worst retail experiences I have had. These are the applainces the retailer removes for free when you buy a new fridge or washer. So, you are basically getting someone else's headache with a very limited warranty. It is not necessarily a bad business concept, but it is one that is inherently compaint-laden simply due to the products being offered.

Fridge shows up and they drop it in my living room, only after arguing because they didn't want to bring it up the 3 steps on my porch and was going to leave it on my walk. So I called my son to help me get it in the kitchen and hook it up. In doing so I realize this is not the fridge I picked out and was in fact a used fridge with spilled moldy food behind the drawers that they taped up to look like new. Plug it in and it doesn't work. Call the same day and they inform me they don't give refunds, only a replacement. I go to the store and see the one I originally thought i was buying. Told them this and was told the sales clerk must have made a mistake. Agreed to the replacement with the original one I looked at, but then had to pay another $79 to have it delivered. Fridge showed up once again and once again it's a different fridge with broke parts inside that didn't work. Went thru the whole process again, but this time the new fridge was nowhere to be found. Found a working one with missing and broke parts inside and then I had to piece it together from three different fridges to get a complete fridge. This time I brought help and took it home with me. I hooked it up and it worked, so I thought OK, I learned my lesson and I will just never go their again. Luckily I bought the extended warranty, Because as I am sitting here a year and a half later, waiting for the repairman to show up for my 14th service call, everyone of which ended up in a fridge full of spoiled items and having to go without a fridge for up to 2 weeks while I'm waiting for a tech to show, I decided to write this review. The repair company has replaced everything that they can think of and each time it works for a little bit before its out again. They have tried to put in for a replacement fridge with Kenmore, but American Freight is listed with all the major manufacturers as do not replace their Appliances. So there you go.
