My car broke down and was taken to them because of a recommendation while I was on vacation. They worked hard and fast to get me back on the road at a fair price. I was struck with some more bad luck mechanically not long after I picked the car up. The mechanics in the new town misdiagnosed the problem. Their diagnosis was that the exact repair I had had just done had failed and was the cause of the new breakdown. The owner of Vogels Motors and the mechanic that did the work were in communication with me daily about the status of the car. When they heard it may have been the same problem, the owner himself drove from Simpson to Warragul to pick the car up and tow it back to their garage to fix the problem. That is about 7 hours one way. As it turned out, it was not the same problem but something different. When I went to pick the car up, they had repaired it within a day. Asked me for no money for the tow or the labor and kindly asked if I'd be willing to pay for some parts. They felt bad that I had had two break downs and had done so much work and put in so much effort when they thought their initial repair was the cause of the second break down. Everyone I met that works there was friendly and concerned about my situation and felt bad that my trip was getting hit with so much bad luck. This was an amazing place. There are 2 cottages and we stayed in the smaller one that was made of…read morewood. It was so quaint and cosy we loved it! The place was fully loaded with a bbq grill, dressing gowns, fully stocked kitchen, etc... The other cottage was built is stone in the 1800's. We were woken up by 100's os corella's in the morning, it was amazing for someone coming from Canada. We were sad that we only stayed the one night. Such a great experience!

We had the end unit which was nice and a cute little patio and the off season prices and customer service could not be beat! 4 instead of 5 stars because the jets on the big beautiful tub we were told right off the bat was broken, so we weren't able to enjoy that :( Nice to have free DVDs to borrow from the front desk as well as we got quite a rainy/windy day while we were there!! Also appreciate being able to leave our stuff at the reception desk since our bus came 5 hours after the required checkout time. Great little place we'd recommend for visitors to Port Campbell!
