Well, any pub that goes by the name Boggy Creek, that is on a road of the same name in a hamlet carrying the name Curdievale certainly has to be a place to visit. Mind you, if it wasn't for the fact that there is a huge sign on the Great Ocean Road that says 'Boggy Creek Pub, pub of historical significance' I doubt anybody would actually know about it. Mind you, I did, but that is because I am an Internet fiend and learnt about it weeks before I actually took a drive down the road. I should say that it is pretty much your typical Australian country pub, right down to the locals, and a part of me wonders whether the locals are actually a part of the tourist attraction (because if they're not, they probably don't think much of the endless streams of tourists that come through here - if that actually happens). Still, this is a pretty cool pub, and has a pretty decent deck where you can sit with your beer admiring the Australian countryside. read more
