one of the campsites

Tent camping $20 a night with use of pool and spa. Grounds have use of laundry if needed with quarters. Also can ask to use the gas BBQs at the pool areas. Staff that runs campground exceeds most businesses examples of good customer service. They stopped once in our campsite to make sure everything was ok. They turned on a spa to heat up water thats not used often rather than tell me use the one thats all ready heated up just so I could use spa that was not near the YMCA campers (I wanted to hear no kids). We werent able to get water to come out of our campsite and they were there within 15 minutes to let us know it was an issue with the well. Really good customer service and they will have me as a camper for many years.

Old gold mine nearby.

Douglas is such a sweet and friendly guy. He gave me a hand drawn trail map to find the Indian kitchen, Rock House and an amazing abandoned gold mine. The kids all loved that hike. I've often stayed at Agua Caliente, just down the road - but the weather at Butterfield makes it a much better base camp. Agua Caliente is crowded, loud and the rangers are sometimes unfriendly. Bring carrots for Donkeyodey, and the two horses, they will love you! My son's bike didn't suffer any blowouts - but a friend of mine also had problems with burs - so leave the bikes at home. After a day of hiking, the cold pool is refreshing. If you want a warm pool, take a short drive to Agua Caliente and enjoy their mineral pools.

Stagecoach Trails Campground & RV Park

Route S2 has an origin from the late 1700s when the Spanish used it the route, and a bit later, in 1826, it was Mexican mail route. And some time after that, Mark Twain rode the trail in a mail coach and wrote about it in his book Roughing It (1872). Stagecoach Trails is located about two miles south of Scissors Crossing, and for this reason, it uses a mailing address of nearby Julian, CA instead of Borrego Springs. Borrego Springs is much farther away than Julian. WONDERFUL THINGS IN THE GENERAL STORE. I had just spent about six hours hiking in the southern half of Anza Borrego Desert State Park, and decided it was time for a pit stop. I was delighted by the fact that Stagecoach General Store has, inside, a menu with many selections, several tables and seats for use during your meal, plus several shelves stocked with many groceries and hardware supplies and (best of all) a section devoted to desert-style gifts, including leather goods and jewelry. I was enchanted by jewelry boxes with a snap-shut lid. The jewelry boxes are shaped like cowboy hats, and the hat opens and shuts. Each cowboy hat has a different color. The jewelry takes the form of earrings that are shaped like cowboy boots, stirrups, or guns. I bought three of these jewelry boxes. One had a pink hat, one had a turquoise colored hat, and the third had a black hat. I recall they were about $20 each. Because I'd just completed a six hour hike, I also bought a hamburger and a large basket of French fries. PHOTOGRAPHS. Attached is a photograph of the front of Stagecoach General Store, as seen from Route S2 (I copied this photo from the website of Stagecoach Trails RV Resort). Also shown is a photo of me standing on a stagecoach made of iron. I first asked an employee in the General Store if I could stand on the stagecoach step, and she answered, "Yes." Also posted here, are photographs of a vulture and of a roadrunner, that I saw about two hours before I discovered Stagecoach General Store. Another of the attached photographs shows a special device that the vulture was using to stay aloft.

Quite the opposite. He took the time to walk me through the process, answered questions honestly, and even shared a couple of additional recommendations to help us double check that we were making the right call. In an industry that can feel opaque and hard to trust, that level of transparency stood out. No pressure, no sales spin, just someone who clearly cares about doing right by people. If you are looking for foundation work and want straight answers, Joshua is absolutely worth a call.

Using a remote camera system, he thoroughly explained how my existing piers had been constructed years ago and had deteriorated over time. He demonstrated how up-to-date technology and improved materials made the new piers superior to what I currently had. Not only did Josh and his crew arrive as scheduled to install the new piers and base supports, they worked diligently and efficiently. Josh went above and beyond what I expected when he located some spare skirting panels and used them to replace my damaged ones. My house was in much better shape both structurally and cosmetically after he left. The peace of mind I have knowing that my house has sturdy supports again is priceless.
