Such a nice experience to find such a grand Brewery in a fairly middle-of-nowhere place. Busted Knuckle Brewery in Glasgow, MT is based out of an old garage. The owner of the repair shop, Ben, converted his old place into a Brewery and did an awesome job with the design and motif. My favorite brews from the tasters were the Middle of Nowhere Raspberry Blonde, the Marzen, Hot Rod (a jalapeno Amber), and Black Nail Stout. This place was awesome! I am from out of town and stopped in as some locals recommended the place. They had around 12 beers to choose from. I did two flights so tried 8 beers. I loved the Jalapeño but all were great! Customer service and atmosphere were excellent. Great addition to this little town. read more

Grew up with Ben and my beer review is related to tasting many brew pubs across the midwest and northwest. The busted Knuckle Brewery is tops. Today I'm enjoying the summer Shandy. Refreshing and I do believe I'll have another. Thanks to my son and grandsons for the Father's day gift and thanks to Ben. Enjoy your 4thof July week. read more

Awesome beer. Fun place to gather after work or on the weekend. The atmosphere is relaxed and is set up for hanging with friends. The only place in town that you can have Eugene's Pizza delivered, which is a great match for the beer. The stout is a must and check out the IPAs too. I never thought I liked IPA until I tried it at the Busted Knuckle! read more

Very cool place with good beer. Do you need more than that for Glasgow? Seriously, I enjoyed the brews (including a jalapeño spiked beer) in a very cool vintage garage setting while hanging out with great people. Perfect evening. read more

With 11 beers on tap - all made in-house - the Busted Knuckle Brewery offers the widest selection of craft beers for miles around! Also available is a variety of wine, non-alcoholic root beer, cream soda and kombucha. We have a wide selection of t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, growlers and the super popular 32 oz Master Cylinder in all flavors.

History

Established in 2015.

Ben Boreson, owner and brewer, was a mechanic for many years. In 2011 he began to home-brew beer to enjoy with family and friends. The beer was so good that in 2014, at the urging of family and friends, he closed the mechanic shop and transformed the garage into a microbrewery! Seven months later, on June 18, 2015, the Busted Knuckle Brewery opened. The mechanic theme is woven throughout the brewery and tap room. Tabletops are automobile radiators covered with plate glass and have automobile mufflers for legs. Overhead lighting consists of mechanics' trouble lights. A crank shaft from a D-12 Caterpillar is a major attraction and conversation piece. The walk-in cooler is covered in diamond-plate and looks like a giant tool box. The tap handles are made from mechanics' wrenches.

We ordered food to be delivered from the Wolf Point Cafe (which has been owned by the same family for 4 generations) and the owner, J. J., delivered our food himself (possibly because Martin rewards him with a pint of IPA when he does) J.J. hung out with us while we enjoyed our delicious food and shared some of the history of his cafe. We had planned to just have one beer and go but the whole experience was so delightful, we stayed until closing. All and all, one of the high points of our road trip. Very highly recommend! Located in a former radiator repair shop, the Busted Knuckle has a family-friendly atmosphere and great beer! Ben, the brewer and owner, has transformed the garage into a cozy and comfortable place to gather with friends and family. The prices are very reasonable and the beer offerings are updated regularly. All the decor and beer names have an automotive/mechanical theme. There is also homemade root beer available - 'just like Grandpa used to brag about'! You have to see it all to truly appreciate it! Great choice of brews and a fun atmosphere! Hot Rod Jalapeño is amazing for the adventurous and the Rusted Nut Amber is smooth, much smoother than its name. The local Eugene's Pizza will deliver which makes this brewery the perfect spot to enjoy the local atmosphere. The Busted Knuckle Brewery is a must! read more
