    E Claims is a terrible company. E Claims represents the Chase Sapphire credit card for lost luggage…read moreamong other services Chase lists. I've had an ongoing claim for over a year for lost luggage. I've shared all the information they needed over 6 months ago but they continue asking me for the same documents when I call them. A senior claims representative for my case Jennifer Mccaffrey called me and confirmed they have all my documents, and to email her personal email my communication with the common carrier who lost the luggage as a final step. I did this and never received a response after many follow-up emails. I called e-claims to follow-up and they said Jennifer was not authorized to do that, and they need to start over and find a new senior claims rep for me, and they had no timeline or possibility for a callback. I could go on about dozens of poor situations but I'm tired and don't care anymore. I'm notifying Chase Sapphire that I'm canceling their card after many years and finding a new credit card that will support me as marketed.

We felt covered. How wrong we were! Let me say, first, that whenever I was on the phone with the customer service staff, they have always been super polite, patient and apologetic. So, I gave one star for that. After that, it's all down hill. Our trip delay happened six months ago and they still haven't resolved the claim. It was two parts. The flight and the rental car. The airline fully refunded the airfare going to AZ. But we had to buy a new ticket AT THE LAST MINUTE, which cost $200 more than the ticket that had been refunded which we had bought in advance to get a good price. READ the fine print, if you got a refund, eclaimsline owes you nothing. This is not trip insurance, it is a scam! I no longer feel safe and protected. Pttttt! The Budget rental car was different, they had only partially refunded our prepaid rental cost. So how did eclaimsline avoid paying this? They continually ask for more information to prove our claim. And they claim they are swamped and claims will be reviewed in the order in which they are received. It is a pathetic business model. I'm so sick of these guys. And frankly, I'm ashamed of them. They are NOT in the business of insuring their clients. They are in the business of avoiding payout on claims. Chase would do well to not use them to administer their Trip Insurance
