(In contrast, one service I called in California was vague and who didn't even "hear" on the phone that I was living in Washington DC not Washington state. This is enough to raise questions in my estimation as to their specificity and detail-execution.) Within a short time of sending my letter to Joaquim, I received an email in response and within two days had the express mailed documents in hand. The extra mile they went, to verify the medical terminology with their Spanish editor/translator was appreciated. The price for the meticulous and professional service was fair. What I didn't expect was that this provider would run parallel processes instead. I was told that they would work with me, take a better approach, and help me with my job search, and I was given assurances that I would receive better support and results. Based on those assurances, I decided to give the service another chance and removed my review. Unfortunately, after giving them approximately another two months, I did not notice any meaningful improvement or change in my job-search results. I have several years of IT and cybersecurity experience and relevant industry certifications, and I have been actively applying for cybersecurity positions. Despite this, I did not see the level of recruiter interest, interviews, or opportunities that I expected after investing $1,800 in professional career coaching. I understand that no career coaching company can guarantee someone a job, and I never expected an absolute guarantee of employment. However, when someone pays $1,800 for a professional coaching service, they should reasonably expect personalized guidance, a clear strategy, consistent support, and measurable progress.
