Update: This large firm sent me a letter of demand to remove my opinion, review and statement -…read more they demanded I cease and desist.... What I can only interpret to be sharing my personal experience across platforms or to anyone else in the universe, basically... apparently Ms Collins lie was not an intentional misrepresentation.... It was an accident? The letter is very serious, to me, it appears to be a gigantic firm intimidating me over a review on the internet to file a lawsuit and take money from me advantageously during my grieving process - I wonder if they sent letters of demand to every person who wrote a negative review about them to have the bad ones removed? They have no recording of our conversation to support their allegations or assertions. They seem to think they are a compassionate firm even though they sent a letter of demand, which seems to be sent to intimidate and strike fear and panic into someone during the time of their mother passing and dying in hospice. I don't think this is compassionate of them. I also think that they should simply have apologized and amended the misrepresentations and in turn I could amend my review to show that they did the right thing and amended the misleading or false statements, which may have directly caused my mother to lose all support and caregiving from my sister. My mother is in hospice dying and Ms.Collins didn't even ask her client how she is doing... in the referenced email - plus the email screenshot was sent to a family group text and they seem to think they are experts in knowing how each member of our family feels about this, and on unnecessary drama. It appears that they do not feel this letter of demand, directly caused by my reviews which were directly caused by Sasha's email and may directly cause my mother to lose support from her daughter, are not unnecessary chaos and drama in our family - I disagree with them. I feel this attorney, Sasha Collins lied about the facts of our conversation to her client, my sister, and caused unnecessary family drama during a painful probate case a probate of our mothers conservatorship while we are all suffering because our mother is dying and has dementia, extremely painful and traumatic for all of us and she lies to my sister and causes more chaos, family, drama, and problems. It is my opinion that she is not aligned with the values of compassion and integrity that this firm claims to have. I am very disgusted and will be Filing a grievance With the state bar of California, she did not receive a phone call from me on this day. She contacted me at my place of work in return to my phone call. She misrepresented the truth and lied to her client, my sister about our correspondence that took place - perhaps she was intoxicated or something? I'm unsure how she interpreted our conversation so poorly. I think email is so unprofessional and lacking in empathy, kindness, thorough explanation of the options, LegalEASE etc I think this is a horrible correspondence to send a client. How embarrassing for this firm.

I can't say enough good things about this attorney. Eric Ridley has helped me more than once, and…read moreeach time he went out of his way to offer guidance, answer my questions, and follow up with me. I originally reached out when I was dealing with a debt collector who was constantly harassing me, and he took the time to explain my rights and walk me through my options. His advice made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. What stood out the most wasn't just his knowledge, but his kindness and genuine willingness to help. He took the time to talk things through with me, responded to emails thoughtfully, and made sure I understood everything without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. It's rare to come across someone who is both highly professional and truly compassionate. If you're looking for an attorney who truly cares and takes the time to support you, I would absolutely recommend Eric Ridley.

I hired Eric Ridley as my attorney because his website made the bankruptcy process seem simple and…read morestraightforward. Unfortunately, my personal experience was very different. A large portion of my debt came from my son's high school football injury and his seizure disorder, so I was already overwhelmed and going through one of the most stressful periods of my life. Instead of receiving the guidance I desperately needed, most of my case was handled by an out-of-state paralegal, and the process dragged on for over a year. The one time I spoke with Eric directly, he made a comment suggesting I "cut off" my 16-year-old son because his medical bills were too high. As a single mom with no second parent involved, I was devastated. I had no idea how I was supposed to simply stop supporting my child. That conversation left me in tears, and I eventually reported my concerns to the California Bar. Eric agreed to reimburse part of the fee I had paid. In my opinion, bankruptcy representation requires compassion, clear communication, and hands-on guidance--especially for clients dealing with medical-related debt--and I did not feel I received that. Switching attorneys was the best decision I made. I hired Karen Grant, who immediately fixed the issues, communicated professionally, and had my case filed within a month of our first meeting. This review reflects my personal experience, and I hope it helps others who may be searching for the right attorney during an already difficult time.
