We started out with hand passed steak frites and various flatbreads plus an incredibly beautiful presentation display of cheeses/vegetables/fruits platters table. For dinner we had beef that melted in your mouth, home made tortillini, herb chicken, fresh quinoa, summer squash, yummy mashed potatoes and a very unique and unbelievably flavored bread. Jessica, our catering manager, was very helpful and accommodating with several of our guests dietary needs (gluten free, vegan, dairy free, vegetarian and nut allergies). The kitchen staff, servers and bartenders were great! Thank you Mike, Sarah and Jessica for helping to make our daughter and her husband's day extra special! Mother of the Bride

One of the main reasons we booked them was because they were the only catering company we could find that encorporated composting. This was a must need for our zero waste wedding but little did we know how great everything else would be. When planning, Kristin offered custom dishes which we immediately jumped on. She and her team replicated our favorite dish from the trip on which we got engaged and it came our delicious! This was such a special option that really set them apart from other caterers. Not to mention, our guests are still raving about how good the food was - some even said they were going to try and replicate it themselves because they enjoyed it that much. Also the bar service was impeccable! Ryan was so wonderful to work with. He helped us create the bar menu to fit all our parents request that still worked in our budget. He also created amazing signature cocktails for us that were the hit drinks of the night. We highly recommend them for any catering needs!

I love deviled eggs, so I was sure to get those, and we got a few other items that I posted pictures of. Everyone agreed that the food was good, and many people told me they enjoyed it. However, the portions are rather small, so keep that in mind when you order. For instance, there was one deviled egg per person. There's typically 2 per person with catering, or just more than you need. There seemed to be a lot of the mini chicken tacos, so it may be dependent on what items you order. There seemed to be more caprese skewers, too, so when you order, that would be a good question to ask. The food was good, so we'd use them again. We'd just order more next time, lol. I easily could have eaten 2 of the deviled eggs... or 10.

I got the fish fry and it was huge, crispy, yet tender on the inside. Everything you would want from a fish fry. I got potatoes as a side and these bite sized potatoes were soft and deliciously drizzled in butter (I can only imagine how much better they would have tasted if I warmed them up. The side mac salad was average for a mac salad, no complaints, no hoorahs. The other star was the sushi burrito I ordered. I never had one so I had to try. They serve it every last Friday I believe, and you should be there with me every last Friday of the month ordering it. I was gladly impressed. I got the spicy tuna, but I could've mixed in spicy shrimp and tempura shrimp (next month). Then after I was full I had 2 oatmeal cookies ( complimentary with the fish fry I'm assuming) and they matched the rest of the meal, awesome. They have earned a new loyal customer today as my taste buds and my belly approve.

Once we confirmed a date and time, we notice communication was a huge issue with this caterer. It would take over a week to get a menu confirmation back and then with changes to the menu, another week etc. The same excuse every time, "too busy" or "running to an event". Eventually after a month of trying to get a menu together, the gentleman in charge gave us some attitude about us trying to confirm in a timely manner since the party was coming up. After all this, we decided not to move forward with them. Found a better caterer for the exact same menu and half the price. Update: see attached pictures, we were in communication and I definitely have the right company. Regardless, it was not an enjoyable experience.

They were able to create a menu unique to our "backyard garden party" style wedding reception: a menu that catered to vegetarians, Kosher guests, and everyone in between. Everyone raved about the food for months after our wedding. The best part of Tasteful Connections, though, was the staff: they were extremely helpful and flexible. When my husband decided two days before our wedding that he wanted craft beer at our reception, Michelle worked with him and my brother to find a selection within our price point. My husband and I planned our wedding by ourselves (without a wedding planner) from over four hours away, and we couldn't have done it without Michelle and her team. They worked with our tent rental company to make sure we not only had enough tables and linens, but that everything was set up in the best possible way. They came out to our wedding site (in the Finger Lakes) to meet with the site owners, my husband, and me, and they made sure everything would be perfect. Everyone was so professional, and they ONLY made me feel relaxed about my reception--never stressed or worried that it wouldn't be perfect.
