At the foundation, Mr. Sessums cares more about penny pinching - every scheduled appointment, he was completely silent, waiting for me to ask questions! I was in an abusive situation and had no idea what to navigate, and how - and yet he did not lead anything, merely to take advantage of me and knew I didn't have any direction on the matter, and would go on and on for hours letting me ask questions - thousands and thousands in his pocket. Even the phone assistants would be charging me when I merely called to ask about setting up appointments, and started asking me questions about my situation after I hired him as a lawyer - and would end up billing me for it! Mediation was a joke - he didn't even show up and had his assistant show up, to which I ended up LOSING everything I hired him for. I paid my abusive husband $75,000 to settle our home that I paid every single penny for, and had to buy him out - to which Mr. Sessums had zero help, strategy, or assistance. I spent over $40,000 billing hours on gathering financials and ended up spending $3,000 in mediation alone funded all by me, negotiated by my ex, while his assistant had ZERO credibility or strategy. If I had a better lawyer who didn't care about my money, I wouldn't be abused to this day by my ex-husband who continues to harass me, and Mr. Sessums had no comments at the end of all this, other than that I was a difficult client! How professional. He cared more about his status, schmoozing up to the opposing lawyer during my time in court, zero care about speaking with me, and during every single meeting or phone call, I could see and hear him on his laptop typing emails to OTHER clients while billing me hundreds by the minute.
