New chest press PR last summer.

I have been a member of Burn in Wexford since August of 2018. I have never stuck with a fitness program this long. I have done lots of different ones for small amounts of time. But this one is the only one to have "clicked" with me. The trainers at Burn (Matt, Karli and Erin) are amazing. They provide one on one support during camp when you have a question or they notice that your form isn't quite right. Matt came to correct my form earlier this week and despite my surly demeanor while he was doing so, was kind and only trying to help me prevent an injury. I would suggest, actually highly encourage, that anyone (they have lots of modifications based on fitness level) give our location a try. I have visited other franchises in several states (Burn membership gets you UNIVERSAL membership) and wholeheartedly believe that ours is the best. One thing that I had no idea I would gain by "joining a gym" was amazing friendships with like-minded people. Some of my favorite people in the world are the people I take camp with every day at 5:30 am. Burn changed my life and it can change yours, too!

Burn Boot Camp Wexford is the best gym to create a healthy lifestyle. Both trainers, Matt & Karli are awesome! They provide the best feedback in the gym / outside the gym that sets a positive and motivating environment for all their members!

I can't say enough good things about this Crossfit box! My husband and I just moved from the D.C…read more area, and were really attached to Trident Crossfit in Northern Virginia. We had been members for years, and took a 3-year hiatus after having babies #1 and #2 in rapid order. With our move and a more flexible schedule (i.e. not sitting in traffic 2 hours a day), I decided that it was time to get back into Crossfit and wondered if I could find any gym as good as the one I fell in love with. Crossfit Mindfire blew me away even before I stepped foot inside the box. I visited the website after finding it through other Yelp reviews, and requested a free trial class. Within what seemed like minutes, the owner Todd emailed me to learn more about my background and goals in joining. He was in constant communication while I was moving to check in to see how I was doing, and even after my move, reached out to see when I'd like to come check out a class. He accommodated my frequent date change requests due to my work travel schedule, and when I was finally able to come in, he and co-owner Loren immediately introduced themselves and others in the gym. Not only did they continue to make me feel welcome, but it is clear that they have built that culture within the entire CM community. I had a killer workout led by Coach Nate, and witnessed camaraderie across a variety of athletic levels. I immediately signed up for more. If you are looking for a Crossfit community northwest of Pittsburgh, this is it! Friendly, non-intimidating environment in a beautiful, converted train station.

I travel a lot for work and get to drop in to a lot of boxes. This was one of the best. It has the old school crossfit vibe, but with killer new equipment. As a drop in, you never know what you are going to get. One of the owners - Todd, was super welcoming and made me instantly feel like a regular. The other members were also awesome. When I say this is old school crossfit, I mean it. At this box, finishing first just means that you are the first cheerleader for the rest of tribe. If you are visiting Pittsburgh, drop in to Mindfire. If you are looking to change your life, join Mindfire.

I called in to schedule my first class, and the woman on the phone emailed me some paperwork to complete prior to coming in. You don't have to fill it out before you come, you can opt to wait until you arrive. But if you want to cut back on time, then complete beforehand. A little bit before the class started, Anna who was the instructor of the class I was in, went over how the class goes. It is always different, so that is nice because your body is constantly being challenged and decreases the chances of your weight loss plateauing. Since it was Valentines Day, it was a threesome challenge. Haha! We all got a good kick out of that. Anyways, we did several intervals and tagged each other out. This is definitely a fun but challenging workout. I love how we all high fived and cheered each other on. The instructor and others are real good about helping you if you are struggling with how to work a machine. Anna made sure we were using the weights properly, I really appreciated that! On a plasma tv screen you can keep track of your calorie burn and what zone you are in. Afterward, Anna went over my results and talked to me about the membership packages. I didn't commit to one yet, as I am already a member at a gym. But I do think this would be nice to add in to spice up my routine. I am going to visit again, and then decide. All in all, I love it. And I think this is a great new way to challenge your body, build strength, and a good way to mix up your regular routine!

The layout is super open & the couches are motivating! Wes coached most of the classes and it was pretty awesome that he remembered my name by the end of a few consecutive days. I love it when the coaches are able to call out your name with their motivational tidbits. I definitely plan to keep the studio flagged and use it next time we are in town with my in-laws, cause I'll probably need it

I would not recommend this location for anyone seeking mid to high-level exercise classes. This…read morestudio offers instructor lead fitness classes. The instructor I had was not a trained professional (in my opinion) - there was no guidance on correct/incorrect technique during the class. Additionally, the class did not have a set plan and seemed unplanned/unorganized. I rated this a 2 because the class was mainly a chat session for the ladies enrolled, I was unhappy with the fact that it seemed more about complaining/gossiping then focusing on fitness and proper technique to avoid injury. While they were friendly, I have a short amount of time to exercise and I don't want to stand around and chat. The studio area is clean and well lit. The one bathroom provided is poor quality and cluttered with stuff, it is the only place to change. You cannot work out here outside of scheduled class times.

There are a variety of different "types" of women that go there but I've never seen any obsessive gym buffs or muscle heads... And to me that's great, I don't want to feel like a whale next to Susie Super Fit! They offer a variety of classes 6 days a week! Usually 3 classes a day. Kettlebell is my favorite! I also do HIIT, RIPPED and a core/toning class. I'd definitely recommend taking fitness classes here!!!!!
