I have no receipts from this place. Alicia the office manager said that she sent my receipts to my…read moreemail I never received them. They were sent through stripe. I don't have the receipts also they don't have my records and when I asked her for the receipts she was like oh well the last time you came in here was 5 months ago we don't have your records now. Clinics are supposed to keep your records a couple of years from what I understand so also they would not give me a receipt why are you not giving me a receipt? I think that there's some funny business going on over there. Also I am on a very long-term usage of a benzodiazepine I'm talking like a 25 years of usage when you take benzodiazepines with ketamine it does not work. These doctors knew that I was on benzos and they chose to treat me anyways taking my money to line their greedy pockets rather than explain to me that it probably wouldn't be a good idea because my Klonopin would interfere with the ketamine. After the 4th infusion I went for I think four or five more because I'm stupid. I really was trying to believe that this was going to cure me. I didn't even reach a youth work stage I literally was chasing to get to that euphoria again and they're ketamine that they gave me I really think it was just plain saline. Or maybe they just need to do some more research on it and you know see how it works with people who are on benzos. And you don't who have a high tolerance because I am on medicated I can't be medicated by ssris or antipsychotics or anything like that they don't do anything for me mentally all they do is do s*** to my body physically so this was like okay great I can get this and I can be cured it only takes eight sessions. Actually it takes more than eight sessions because they wanted to keep you coming back so they can keep regulating you. And at the first doctor's visit it really would have been nice if the doctor had explained to me how I could get the nasal spray rather than the infusion which took up you know 2 hours of my time twice a week or once a week for it not to be a viable solution for me. These people are crooks I don't think they know what they're doing. I have spoken to a professor of pharmacology at bu and I had a thorough discussion with him as to why and how the ketamine works and why it would not work with my Klonopin AKA clonazepam AKA a benzo. I'm not a person likes to listen to my psychiatrist but my psychiatrist was really concerned about me doing it then my therapist was really excited about me doing it and it seemed I was doing better. Now I'm the same amine old b i t c h that I was before. Just call me Karen. Cuz that's what I'm doing on here I'm going to let all these businesses know about their s***** customer service they give to people and these quack doctors they need to be having their license taken away from them they are not helping anyone they are not helping me they can't even give me a m************ receipt or my medical records they tossed my medical records away with my financial billing papers. Who does that? That's not a real clinic and they don't do therapy I DON'T KNOW WHAT PART OF I NEVER RECEIVED A RECEIPT THROUGH STRIPED THAT YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND. HOW DO YOU THROW AWAY YOUR BUSINESS RECORDS? HOW DO YOU DO TAXES WITHOUT THOSE BUSINESS RECORDS? DON'T YOU NEED TO HAVE PROOF THAT SOMEBODY PAID AND IF YOU HAVE SENT IT TO MY EMAIL I'M SURE AS S*** THAT YOUR ACCOUNTANT GOT THE SAME PAPER FOR BILLING THAT I DID. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ONE RECEIPT FROM STRIPE IT HAS NEVER BEEN ONE SINGLE RECEIPT OR ANY EMAIL FROM STRIPE EVER. AND YEAH I WANT MY RECEIPTS. FYI I'M COMING FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU GUYS STOLE MY MONEY I GET NO RECEIPTS I CAN'T HAVE MY INSURANCE REFUND ME ANY MONEY AND IN THE BEGINNING YOU'RE LIKE OH YOU'RE GOING TO DIE IF YOU DON'T COME IN HERE LIKE YOU'RE SCARING ME LIKE THAT I'M GOING TO COMMIT SUICIDE IF I DON'T GET YOUR TREATMENT. THEN I GET YOUR TREATMENT AND GUESS WHAT I'M STILL IN THE SAME BOAT. I WONDER WHY THAT IS PROBABLY BECAUSE I AM A 25-YEAR LONG USER OF KLONOPIN SO THEREFORE Y'ALL KNEW THAT IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME AND IT WAS NOT GOING TO WORK FOR ME AND YOU CHOSE TO FREAKING TREAT ME ANYWAYS BECAUSE YOU'RE GREEDY AND THEN I NEVER GET A RECEIPT FOR IT AND I CAN'T BILL MY INSURANCE EVEN THOUGH Y'ALL SAID THAT YOU TOOK MY INSURANCE. THIS IS BEEN ONE GOOD LESSON AND HOW TO STAY AWAY FROM POP UP CASH CLINICS LIKE THIS. I'M LITERALLY IN DEBT TRYING TO FIX WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME AND I'M GOING TO DIE IN DEBT BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS ARE NOT THERE TO HELP NONE OF YOU MENTAL HEALTH PLACES HELP WHERE IS YOUR EMPATHY AND I WANT MY RECEIPTS I don't have this name under you guys cuz this is a very old account. So yeah you got me I was a sucker and I don't know if I don't get some receipts and some medical records so I'm going to be upset and I'll contact you from my real name. But somebody who has been some benzodiazepines for as long as I have it was very irresponsible

Answered any and every question that I may have had while making me feel comfortable with the process. After the first treatment, I began to instantly notice a difference and things only improved with each session. It's hard to put into words exactly how much these treatments have helped me. I'm just so thankful to have found Emerge.

I was not in need of an appointment until a few weeks ago. I did their 'on-line' form to update all my information and was told I would receive a call to set up an appointment. Well, a week went by with no call. I called the office and was told I would need to submit my information 'on-line', and then someone would call me back to set up an appointment. I told her that I had done this a week ago! She said she would look into my request and have someone call me back....That was last week, and I still have no appointment and no call back from them!

If you are like most other human beings seeking care who are looking for an empathetic therapist who will treat you like the human being that you are and not just another number who helps pay the bills, than I strongly suggest you stay as far away as possible from Dr. Eli Spector and psychological care associates. I was matched with Dr. Spector to help deal with anxiety. During my course of time with him, he consistently tried to push a DBT group on me and made me feel guilty for needing medication to deal with my anxiety. He didn't seem to express empathy at any time for the emotions and feelings I was having. The icing on the cake was when I scheduled an appointment with him hours after having an miscarriage. His response was that the "good news was I could get pregnant". Not really the best thing to say to someone experiencing a loss. When I returned the following week to see him, I intended to let him know how uncomfortable I felt but he cut me down again by telling me that my reaction to my miscarriage was "not normal". Such a horrible word to use with someone who has a child with special needs who is not neurotypical. I left his office feeling incredibly angry and upset. When I left a message expressing this, I received a cold voicemail with no apology for his words or any acknowledgment of the hurt and pain he caused me. In the end, seeing him put me even further behind in my journey of trying to heal. When I spoke with the office they were somewhat apologetic but I doubt he was ever spoken to. He was so wrong and disrespectful. He should have reached out and offered an apology or tried to find out what he had done that had caused me pain but since I was just another number and part of his paycheck he couldn't care less. I hope that no other woman has to sit in the same office as this horrible individual.

She took my family to the most vulnerable place we could go, and then she dropped us. She provided no follow up, no transfer of care. Nothing. She should have her board certification revoked. Our 6 year old child experienced an acute mental health crisis. We had one parent session, and then Fortunate also had 15 minutes of virtual introduction to our child for which she asked me to leave the room. She prescribed medication without taking a medical history for my child or a complete family history from us. She did not provide any explanation of risks or potential side effects. Our child began experiencing significant side effects. The school called us with behavioral concerns. The medication, it turns out, is contraindicated for individuals with a certain family history; use of the medication in those individuals can precipitate development of more serious and potentially irreversible mental health conditions. Our family history in that respect is complicated, but Fortunate had not taken an actual (full) history, which is a glaring omission that became much more concerning in light of my child's growing side effects There was no way to communicate with Fortunate. None. I was provided with a phone number and email address to message her assistant. I sent an email and a text asking how to get in touch. No response. I sent a text the next day. No response. The assistant then called me to explain that there would be no communication with Fortunate unless I scheduled an appointment. I explained that my daughter was experiencing significant side effects and we needed to know whether they were concerning or not. The assistant insisted that I must make an appointment and that Fortunate would not reply to any queries in between appointments. She stated, and I quote, "Dr. Munhutu is very busy between 9-5 caring for patients and cannot answer questions". Please note that a quick check of her schedule availability makes clear that the majority of Fortunate's days are very wide open I asked if I could send a message through an email or a patient portal. The assistant said no. I pushed back, and the assistant asked me to send the assistant an email. Several minutes later, before I could send the email, the assistant called me and requested I join a zoom with Fortunate 48 hrs after putting my child on a psychotropic drug, Fortunate Munhutu opened a bizarre zoom call by stating to me that things were "not working out" due to my lack of "trust" in her capability. I repeatedly indicated that I needed some way to communicate side effects and that I expected a care provider to provide some means of contacting them. Fortunate asked me how it works with a PCP, and I stated the following: "I would call my PCP and leave a message to let them know that a medication I just started taking is making my heart race. The PCP or a nurse would call me back or send a message to tell me either that the side effects is expected or to lower my dose". Fortunate just kept shaking her head sadly and saying no, that's not how medical care works. I explained that I also work in medicine, that is how it works, and then she became irritable. She claimed I called her in the middle of a session, which was beyond ridiculous. I had no number to call, no way of contacting anyone other than texting her completely unresponsive assistant. There was nowhere else to go, the call ended, and my husband and I spent the remainder of the day in desperate consultation with our pediatrician and other medical providers to try to figure out whether to keep my child on this medication or not. What kind of medical provider would put a patient -- a pediatric patient, nonetheless -- in this situation? This is reckless. I was not asking for responses. I was not asking to get Fortunate on the phone or zoom. I was asking for an appropriate, responsible way to communicate side effects to the care provider we literally just met Note that "Dr." Munhutu received her advanced NP degree from an online school for which credentials are not accepted in no fewer than 12 states. Her claimed publication, "To Promote Safe Use of Benzodiazepines in Psychiatric Outpatient Settings" *does not exist* in any academic database. She is not a medical doctor, and she is absolutely not qualified to manage medication in emotionally vulnerable patients.
