I had been going here for years but a change in management made this barber go downhill fast. First off, the place is pretty unclean, the mats have 6in of built up old hair underneath and the work stations look like they have not seen a wipe in some time. The last time I went the air conditioning was out in 90 degree heat. They had fans running but it was blowing other peoples nasty hair in my face and on my clothes. Im sorry, but $25 for a 30 min standard haircut these days with no online reservation system, cash only, and unclean I will take my business elsewhere. read more

3 minutes away from my house Very nice and convenient for me to take my son there. But they didn't do a great job, so rushing when they see another customer is waiting, 10 minutes hair for my son so they can take another turn after my son. It's not professional, I paid the same price as adults why they are rushing? End up he went home with terrible hair cut that I can do at home better job then them. Never come back again. read more

It's a haircut, nothing special, but I'm giving it three stars for being cash only. Will never again walk through their doors so long as it's cash only, which is a bit unreasonable these days, and reeks of money laundering, but I digress. There's nothing special about this place to warrant $20 for a haircut, at best it's a $12 shop. Did I mention it's cash only? read more

I have had many of the barbers cut my hair but Lam is always willing to try something new! He is very adaptable. I showed him a drop fade reference photo and he was able to recreated it! I plan to continue going back to Lam. read more

Burke Barber - Shop Hours - Barbers Near Me - Burke, Virginia

Great service. My son liked his haircut. We will definitely be getting his haircut here again.

$17 for a haircut.. it's tough to find a place to get an excellent haircut for a decent price now a days. Keep in mind they are cash/check only. I recently started getting my hair cut at this shop with my main guy Vinny. The wait for this shop is fast as there are 6-7 barbers cutting hair at a given time. If you aren't particular about who cuts your hair, you should be in and out within half an hour. Vinny is a meticulous and detail oriented barber. He will always ask you what you want and then make recommendations based on your facial features or the shape of your head. If you're looking for a new barber, you should give Vinny a shot as he has never disappointed me. read more

The barbers at Burke Barber shop I really friendly knowledgeable on different styles of haircuts.

They always give perfect haircuts. This place is the best been going there for a long time

I just recently moved to Burke and this is the closest barber to our home. Vinny gave me one of my best haircut ever. He started we an in depth consultation, i learned options i didnt know i have. I can tell he was a perfectionist and skillful at his craft. Im a happy customer and definitely would be back. read more

I love coming here! Chau is the best! Every time I come in, she takes in what look I'm trying to get and does a superb job! Walk-ins are all welcome and the service is just great! Highly recommend! read more

I'm a Marine so high and tights weekly. "Sonny is the man!"I never have problems getting in/out with a quality buzz and enjoy the friendly conversations with staff and customers. I've been bringing my 4 year old son here for his last 6 cuts and I've been going here for the last year. It's next to the 7-11 in the Walmart parking lot. read more

$15 normal cut and cash only. It's a decent barber shop charging slightly above average price for a haircut. I wouldn't go back unless I had a time constraint reason for visiting and it was close. There are better places with better prices not much further from here. read more

I a little more expensive than some other places. ONLY takes CASH or CHECK!!! The barbers are very good, disappointed that the hot lather wasn't even warm, not sure if it was broken at the chair I was at. Decent experience though. Big surprise, the entire staff is Asian lol read more

Have had Sonny cut my hair, he is good, and the lady in the far back, also good. But recent visit, ended up getting nicked by razor by lady in chair at front. She didn't even tell me i had been nicked until i saw blood on tissue. Sickening part, is that unlike the good barber shops i grew up with-razors, combs etc. none are sterilized after each person. Anyway, not telling me (though i felt it), then i asked could she get some first aid on it, or at least some anti bacterial soap-and she got huffy as if it were my fault. Anyhow, got checked for anything worse from cut. Will not be going back to this place. In fact, after this experience, i will be watching any and all shops i go to. If they do not have safety measures in place to clean equipment then it is a no go. read more

Reliable spot; I haven't had a bad haircut ever. Been coming for the last 2 years. Nice folks, music, lines move quick (if any). Cash only.

Provides just about everything you want in a Barber shop. No appointments. The most I've ever waited was 5-10 minutes. I've probably gone here for 10-15 haircuts and always been happy with the result. Everybody on staff seems to have a good sense for men's haircuts. Note it's cash only. If you don't have cash on you, you can always run over to the gas station to use their ATM. read more

Just moved to this area, came to try out the barber. Disappointment, is not enough to describe the service we received. My husband came here for a hair cut, but when we saw the finished product... there were random dents in the front and the back of his head. Husband suggested that the staff trim a little off the side so the dents aren't too noticeable. And he did... But it only made it worse. Then we suggested that the barber just give him a buzz cut, and the is what we got in reply: "maybe next time". Ummm..... There won't be a next time. If you don't want dents in your head, go else where. read more

Go see Vinny he's awesome and friendly. He's not in on Thursday or Fridays. My son saw another lay their and she did a great job as well.

Very reliable. The barbers I've had have taken their time to make sure my hair is cut exactly how I want it. Been going for over a year now and the price point is definitely better than say Hair Cuttery. Going rate is $16 (cash only) for a men's haircut and fade. read more

I usually have an excellent experience here but today I had the misfortune of getting my hair butchered by Chau (first chair). Not only was she rude, she managed to cut my scalp and produce the most uneven fade I've ever seen. Then she criticized my lack of a tip after I pointed out the horrible job she did on the cut. Avoid her at all costs! read more

Been taking my boys here for years. Always a good haircut for a fair price done in a timely fashion.

Before I entered the salon I showed the lady a picture of a faded perm and asked "can you make me have curls" she then said "ok"in the middle of the process I asked again "the curls ?" She said "ok" at the end I said "where are the curls ?" She then said " I don't do that you should've gone to the hair salon across the street" I was in shock and was mad because the only reason I went there was to get curls when I asked her several times for curls then she asked to pay $17 for something I didn't ask for her name was chau and I walked away furious read more

I've been to quite a few barbers over the past few years. I've tested the water with local barbers near my house, the hair cuttery and other places. This place is the best and where I'll be getting my haircut always from here on out. This is a pleasant establishment and I just show them a picture of what I want and within 15 or so minutes my hair looks great. I've tried many other people and no one has been able to get it right. Even if it takes me 15 extra minutes to drive here it's worth it. This place can get quite crowded on the weekends, so I recommend going on the weekdays if you can. read more

I have been coming here for more than 2 years. I feel fortunate to have such a close barber near my house. I am in the military and definitely recommend this place. There are 8 chairs and even when it is busy it goes pretty quickly. I think the price is right for the area $15. You know it's a good barber when every barber gives a good medium fade and a little off the top. Everyone is very friendly and courteous. read more

Today I went into Burke Barber and the man that cut my hair butchered it. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and the end result was nothing like the picture. The man I went to was all the way in the back on the left side. I recommend nobody go to that gentleman unless you want a big bald spot on the back of your head (that is what happend to me). I am never going back to that barber even though it was only one guy. I recommend "Wise Cuts", "TD Barber" or any other place than "Burke Barber". read more

This place is actually pretty good. As long as you pick out your favorite barber and stick with them. When I first went I went to someone that wasn't that great, then I went to a women, and that wasn't great either, then I found one that was consistently good. So I say give it a chance, but I would avoid the ladies. read more

Been here a few times. Typical old school barber shop with no fancy gimmicks. Remembering to get cash before going there is a pain but there is a 7 Eleven next door with an ATM which can save the day. Quality of the haircut is always decent. read more
