Well, the first thing I should point out with this place is that I found that the service was really, really good. In fact they were incredibly friendly, though I didn't quite realise that it wasn't table service, but honestly, I should have figured that out anyway considering that it does happen to be a burger bar. We expected the line to be out the door but were lucky it was a quiet Tuesday night so we dined in. I ordered the Slider Trio plus a side of onion rings, honestly could only finish 1 the mini Chicky Canterbury (Crispy Buttermilk Chicken). Hubby had enjoyed the Full Monty Albert. In Surrey Hills shops, near the train station, BurgerBurger (so good they had to say it twice!?) is a good local place when craving a decent burger(burger) but you can't be bothered heading into inner-city to get one. We tried the lamb burger, and it was mighty fine. Burgers are all named after local places which is a kitschy but nice touch. Will be back to run the full gamut of options over time. read more

So, I'm jetting off overseas soon and decided a simply Surrey burger was required for one of my last meals! (Because they're just so good!!!!) It's Friday, so they're busy, really busy, but they've got a production line you wouldn't believe, chopping out delicious burgers in a timely fashion. The waitress brought over a bottle of water even though I was just getting take away. The service is a plus! Also, they smile! Always a good sign. I forgot to grab my drink from the self serve fridge before I left, but that's on me, not them! The last time I came here they had shoestring fries and they were disappointing, so glad they've adapted to crunchy yummy beer battered fries! A decent side, but still, eat the burger first to ensure you get to eat the whole thing (when it's properly cooked). However, I think they fell down today because of the rush. I know they cook burgers medium well, which is fine, I can live with that. But! My burger was most definitely rare, maybe they cranked the heat to cook faster but it stopped the middle of the patty from cooking. It was rare enough that I felt uncomfortable eating it. I ate around the outside and devastatingly 70% of the beef went into the bin. I say devastatingly because it's a $12 burger, it's freaking delicious, I only got half a dinner, and my last review of this place was 5 stars! Full props for flavour though. read more

I was super impressed with my lamb burger after taking the dog out for a walk. A lovely touch that we could have him sit with us out the front while we ate. On our second visit, I was even more impressed with the chicken burger. I can't wait to return and try more! Friendly and fast service, and a nice atmosphere. I was amazed with the amount of staff working when we were there on Saturday night (aroynd 10). The service was quite good. I was a little disappointed with the burger, I asked for Medium Rare and was told that's how we cook all our burgers yet it came Close to well done!! Also the French fries are to close to McDonald's for my liking. The flavour of the burger and filling was quite good but I would like to have the choice of something other than the brioche bun. Fantastic burgers, with great gluten free options too. The gluten free him was fantastic, not stodgy at all. Very filing (enormous, the double pattie is quite unneeded) with delicious meat patties and great sauces (all GF too!) Friendly staff, were willing to show you the package for the gf rolls. Fast service too. You'll pay between $12-20 per burger and the standard $2 extra for gf rolls, but they do have a $10 lunch burger & chips option - not sure how big the burger is then tho. Really, really, really good burgers & fries! Let's face it, that's all you need to know. Soft, sweet brioche buns with excellently cooked patties and good condiments. Only sore point is that this place is breezily cold in winter! Get in here and enjoy. read more

By far my favourite burger place in town. I usually order via Menulog so have no experience in-store but every time it is delivered on time, warm and still put together nicely. The burgers themselves are a good mix of bun, meat and salad. The burger burger sauce is to die for! read more
