Somehow, just the sandwich cost less than the burger and fries and pop? So we just get the combo, whatever. The sandwiches come out with one piece of bacon total, in the bun, burnt and clearly a frozen pre-formed patty. I returned my food and pointed out that the bun was present and the bacon was 1/2 missing. He proceeded to throw my burned burgers back on the grill to presumably heat them up so he could slap on another piece of cheese and ripped the one piece of bacon in half and dumped everything into a cup. The poor cashier complained that the cook and the owner don't care about the customer and that even though it says 2 pieces of bacon, they will only put 1 on it. Although she offered the business owner's card, she said I can call him tomorrow. Unfortunately we are from out of town so it's not going to do any good, I'm sure.

I wanted some fancy pancakes, but also some eggs and sausage, so I was very happy to see that I could get a Pancake Stack and upgrade the pancakes. The food eggs, and home fries needed seasoning, but other than that the food was all very good. I am giving a 3 star rating because while it was a 4/4.5 star meal, a waitress spilled a kettle of liquid on my back as she walked by. Thankfully the liquid wasn't hot. I know it was accident and the staff was very apologetic, but it definitely put a damper on my visit.

I'm not Canadian, but I have had poutine before - and theirs might be the best I have ever had. The gravy was amazing, you could tell they add beer when they are making it. I also tried their regular cheeseburger - cooked perfectly, juicy, and delicious. If I hadn't had the poutine, I'd give it high marks for the burger alone. Don't sleep on this place, it's great. Now, I don't consume alcohol, so I can't comment on the quality of their beer - but my work colleague said it was very good. I did try their vanilla soda - and it was really good. High marks all around!
