They were out of the flank steak so we got the roast beef steak which tasted good. The burger was very disappointing and it was nothing special. I would recommend you go to Paul's diner if you are craving burgers. The avocado tomato salad appetizer was just meh... The prices are more expensive than regular German restaurants but not too bad.

I think the other reviews by Americans are a bit harsh as we aren't in the US and therefore, I don't think you can compare it to places you have been to in the US. I liked the sauces on the burger and the seasoning of the meat. The onion rings and chili cheese fries were also good. The decorations and ambiance were nice and the other people in my group liked the cocktail selections they had. Overall, I thought this place was really nice and the prices were reasonable (8€ for a burger is totally reasonable...as five guys charges the same for a burger in the US and is fast food). Three years ago I lived here for 2 years and ordered ribs every time I visited (1 a month maybe). The ribs used to fall off of bones and the hand cut homes fries were to die for. Now, I sadly say it's the opposite. The ribs tasted as though they were cooked 3 days prior. They didn't have home fries (potatoes at all), nor did they have steak. We called to make a reservation, drove 1 hour only to find that our reservation was never annotated. Lucky us, no one else called for that time. All in all, this place has let the mainstream business make over companies ruin it's originality. Paul's used to be a "mom and pop shop", now they might as well franchise.

So when you see the Golden Arches lite up like the North Star in the middle of the Gobi Desert I found my food!!!! The order: Large Fries All this for build up for Large Fries... Hell yes because even in Schweinfurt Germany Mc Donald's Fries taste the same no matter were you are & I have P.T. so why do I want to eat to much and puke it up running anway...
