There has been a lot of staff turnover over the past 2-3 months. The staff has generally been good, but the overall experience has changed considerably. You would think that an owner who is trying to sell the business would make an extra effort to take care of the customers and staff. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience. The owner has not always been friendly or helpful toward the staff or customers. After being regulars almost every Thursday for 10 years, you would think we would at least be recognized, but apparently that didn't matter. Over the past couple of months, we experienced several issues. On more than one occasion, our pizza was not properly cooked. Another time, it took about 90 minutes for our food to arrive. There were also several occasions when the dining room was closed. On one of those occasions, we were told by the owner, in a very rude tone, to go outside and that we would have to wait on our own. At that point, we simply left. It's disappointing because after 10 years of being loyal customers, we really wanted to continue supporting the restaurant. Unfortunately, the service, attitude, and overall experience have changed enough that we no longer feel comfortable spending our Thursday nights there.

My first bite was like that's not dry at all and the beef has a nice beef flavor. The bun was a perfect bun because it was a softer style and not the dry dense kind but hearty enough not to fall fall apart from all that beef. I didn't even bother asking for rare with the young cooks but it was cooked about medium with some pink left in the middle. The toppings were fresh but the onions were super thin sliced and soft, I would have asked for extra had I have known. I'm impressed that a small drive in takes the burgers seriously and uses top quality ingredients. The fries were lightly salted, but were otherwise just boring, plain potato. Apparently 6pm on a Friday is a horrible time to visit Brazen Head Pub if you want to be seated in a reasonable timeframe. My son and I stood there for at least 20 minutes watching a table that was done eating and the gentleman and his credit card in hand, ready to pay if someone would ever stop and give him his bill. While this was going on, another couple at the bar finished their food and sat there for at least 10 minutes waiting for their check. It's almost as if the employees had no desire to turnover tables even with a line at the door including and behind us. There were three people bartending/waiting tables so they had plenty of coverage given the smaller size of the place. First interaction brought the comment "if I have to make another hamburger, I'm going to vomit ". We were there for a late lunch. The second staff person who relieved the first, never asked if we would like anything further and when my husband went to the bar - she decided wiping down the entire bar was much more important than waiting on customers.
