Oh sweet goodness, this place is the "5 Guys Burgers & Fries" of Sweden…read more Great of later night munchies (until midnight). Has a drive-thru, express self-service order kiosks (brilliant idea), and ordering available via app. Atmosphere: Interior is super clean. Puts American fast food chains to shame. Crowd is mostly young people (high school and college kids), as expected at 11:30pm, but all are well-behaved & polite. No crazy drunkards! Staff: 5 stars. Line was long, but wait to order was short. Gave good food recommendations - asked for suggestions between 3 cheese burger and bacon/cheese burger. Order received promptly. Food: Tried a variety of items - chicken wings, cheese fries (with red onions and jalapenos), bacon/cheese burger, and chili cheese fries. All of them were good and higher than average fast food joint. Favorite was chicken wings. Portion sizes were big and good value for price (about 20 USD total). Bottom Line: Good value late-night burger eats. Highly recommended.

Günter's is a fantastic little sausage stand in a mostly-residential section of Vasastan…read more There always seems to be a bit of a line, but it moves quickly. Günter's has a wide variety of sausages, which are served on baguettes with chimichurri, sauerkraut, hojhoj sauce (a slightly spicy sauce), and mustard. Rather than cut the baguette in half, they drill a hole in the middle, and then fill it with the sausage and toppings, which makes for a neat eating experience without condiments dripping out of the side of the bun. All of the ingredients seem to be high quality, and the chimichurri is an amazing compliment to the sausage. (I always get the sausage with everything, but the chimichurri stands out.) I've been to Günter's at least four times over multiple trips to Stockholm. I've liked everything I've eaten there, but I don't have a standard sausage I order. On this most recent visit, I had the sucuk (a turkish sausage), which was great.

They guy who runs the place and often can be found behind the counter is also a really nice guy. If you're hungry, order the "overkill burger" for 120 SEK and get two 150g patties forged together with bacon and melted cheese - guaranteed to give you a cholesterol kick to the ol' blood pump! I just wish they (like every other grill kiosk) could realize how much better - and not that expensive - it is with real hand-made ground beef patties instead of the horrible factory made frozen excuses of hamburgers they insist on selling! The domestic hamburger culture has outgrown these antiquated grill places. Time to step up the game!
