You can park and walk up to a window and order and sit outside on a few benches and tables set up front. The drive thru work like this, You order on one side of the Shack and pick up on the other side. This is not a fast food chain, each order is made fresh with care from the time you order to the time you pick up. From the person who took our order to the person that gave us our order was friendly and fabulous!! Ordered two cheeseburger combos. Which was 2 big cheeseburgers, 2 huge fries and 2 drinks for $25.60. We have never had a burger and fries that were so hot and delicious!! This seemed less like a rush issue and more like a breakdown in basic process and customer service. A simple "please hold" to the next customer while finishing the order at the window would have resolved the situation. Unfortunately, this experience reflects poorly on staff training and service standards.
