This is not your $15 dollar gourmet burger eatery that you can order from an app. It is not the cleanest or shiniest establishment. But I would argue that it intentionally offers something different to its patrons. So let's talk about what Jumbo House is though: Jumbo House is a local mom and pop dive in the heart of Columbia that offers your typical fast food fare such as burgers, fries, nuggets, corndogs and more. It's priced reasonably when compared to the average drive-thru chains. Its aesthetics reminds its guests of a simpler time. It is the smell of deep-frier oils in the air and a greasy bag of fried food to share with friends and family. It's a beloved spot for some and a misunderstood spot by others. Ultimately, I say that our realtor was right and that everyone living in or passing through Columbia should experience it at least once. Those who know what they are signing up for when they visit Jumbo House are likely in for a good time. So, go grab yourself a Johnny Burger, hot fries and a cold drink and become a true Colombian.

We'd be open to going back and giving it another try--hopefully with margaritas on the table next time.
