That's how you know what is available that day. With the length of the line, presumably due to the popularity of the place, I had plenty of time to consider my options. There were three non-dairy ice cream options and that is not counting the sherbet options. I selected one of the non-dairy options and was pleasantly surprised by how creamy it was! I'm impressed! There are many establishments around this shop but of course you can't sit at any of their tables while you have your ice cream. We found a nearby planter to stop and have the ice cream while it melted rapidly in the heat. Everyone must be doing the same thing because the trash, which was conveniently there, was full of ice cream waste.

The street leading to the shop is quaint and idyllic. We tried the banana-strawberry, raspberry mascarpone, vegan chocolate, and crème brûlée. All were fantastic! The flavors change daily and you never know if they are going to have what you originally came here for, but this only means that you will be forced to get some other flavor which may be even better. The prices are okay and they are open late. However, since this is a family owned business they are only open in the ice cream season, since they go back to Italy every winter, where it seems they spend their time thinking of more flavors to add the next year. Expect a long line in front of the store on the weekends and if it gets hot during the summer.

The people watching out here is simply fabulous. This place offers all the traditional gelato creations you typically find in Germany. My favorite of course is the classic Spaghetti ice. So named for it's looks... it looks like.. well... spaghetti. It's vanilla gelato squeezed through a ricer to make it look like spaghetti on top of a mountain of whipped cream. Topped with strawberry sauce and shaved white chocolate. Perfect. Go ahead and give it a try.

There are plenty of good flavors to choose from and it's the perfect place to just grab something quick and walk the streets.
